Asking all men here. Women can also reply.
I have never seen a man as obsessed with a woman as I have seen women like Kangana, Meena Kumari, Parveen Babi obsessed with Hrithik, Kamal Amrohi, Amitabh.
The only obsessive male lovers we heard of were Salman for Ash, Guru Dutt for Waheeda Rahman at one stage and Dev Anand for Suraiya.
I want to know do men move on easily compared to women?
Are they able to handle heartbreak without being obsessed? Do men get less obsessed compared to women?
Do men keep quiet and let go if woman is married?
I have never seen a man talk of a married woman the same way as Rekha still talks of AB sr in public.
Not even bad boys type actors talk of their married exes like that.
I also do not see many men having affairs with married women. Unlike umpteen cases of women in showbiz marrying or sleeping with married older men who also have kids. No male Sridevi or male Hema or male Rekha here.
Do men find it easier to keep away from married women? Do they find it easier to control emotion and suppress obsession? Are they less vocal in public compared to women like Kangana, Parveen, Rekha et al? But keep their outbursts more behind the scenes?
Or is obsession and heartbreak or bitterness more or less same for both men and women?
My observation :
Men fall in love easily, move on easily too. (like Robos)
Women take time to fall in love and take time to move on too but they definitely move on.
And There are these unique species called "Bollywood men and women" , only God knows what they do, why they do.
I don't know about celeb world.
In real life I came across colleagues who had affairs with married men and talked about it to everyone. Made them feel like the bigger man compared to the husbands of these women.they had no respect for these women at all.
I think for a lot of them it's a fun thing.
There are people like Anupan Kher who really wanted Kiran Kher and even though she was married to someone else. He was still in love with her then married her.
Generally, I think you have answered your own question. The Ratio for these men is lower than the females.
A lot of these females get into these situations thinking the outcome will be him choosing her over his wife. Which most of the time won't happen and they fall easily into the trap. Call it maybe insecurities within herself. She wanted that attention even if it was not worth a dime.
In a way women are easily objectified and are allowing it.

Now women also catching up , equality u know . No love just lust these days .
Ya unique species Bw men n women , no comments .
Oh idk about this.So much of my observations and views about romance come from fiction.
Which is why I got reminded of Jane Austen's persuasion...these were the words of Captain Wentworth when Anne says that a woman's love lasts longer than men's even when faced with heartbreak "dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death.I have loved none but you.Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant"
