The next day, Dev assigns Yogesh his regular duties as to not draw any attention towards their mission. While Yogesh is working, Abhi comes there.

Abhi : Yogesh bhai, woh hamare company ke share holders ka updated list hai kya aapke paas

Yogesh now worried if Abhi will notice that recently a single company has bought significant shares, tries to distract him with his usual tact.

Yogesh : Haan haan Abhi aaona baitho.. main abhi doondtha hoon

He acts to search something on his laptop and meanwhile starts a conversation with Abhi

Yogesh : Aur batao Abhi ghar par sab kucch theek hai kya

Abhi, a little hesitantly : Haan bhai theek hai

Yogesh : Arre come on Abhi, tumhe dekhkar to saaf lag raha hai ki bahut pareshaan ho,  main bhi to tumhara bhai jaisaa hi hoon, tum mujhse koi bhi baat share kar sakte ho

Yogesh opens his cupboard and fills two glasses with wine and hands one to Abhi. Abhi casually takes a sip and leaves the rest untouched. But he begins narrating his story.

Abhi : Umm woh.. ok..  sahi keh raheho aap.. jab mujhe bhai ki zaroorat thi to aapne mere bahut saath diya hai. Actually, woh ghar par kucch theek nahin chal raha hai bhai

Yogesh : Arre kya hua Abhi

Abhi : Aap to jaante ho na mere aur Priya ke beech main to problem hai hi, abhi to Priya aur Vidhi bhabhi ke beech bhi kaha suni ho jaati hai...aur to aur lagtha hai Dev bhai aur Vidhi bhabhi ke beech main bhi kucch problem chal rahaa hai

Yogesh chokes on his drink, shocked hearing what Abhi has just told.

Yogesh : Kya.. kya kya matlab Dev aur Vidhi ke beech main problem chal rahi hai.. tumhe kya pata hai.. bolo na

Abhi is pleased that the fish has fallen for the bait.

Abhi : Ab poori baat to mujhe nahin pata hai bhai, parson mujhe kucch kaam tha to main Dev bhai ke kamre tak gaya, lekin wahan inn donon ki kucch arguement sunaai di thi 

Yogesh : Kis baare main, tumne kucch suna kya

Abhi : Nahin bhai.. accha nahin lagega na aise personal baatein sunna.. to main wahan se chala gaya

Yogesh looked visibly disappointed and Abhi tried to control his grin.

Abhi : Accha ab main chalta hoon, woh file milte hi mere cabin mein bhijwadijiye

Yogesh : Yeah done

As soon as Abhi leaves from there, Yogesh calls Amba

Yogesh : Hello Amba

Amba : Yogesh darling bolo na kaise ho tum

Yogesh is visibly flushed, he cannot deny the fact that he is getting drawn towards Amba quite a lot these days. Their mutual hate towards Dev combined with their power-hungry nature has brought them together, but of late, especially after Dev's wedding night where Amba poured out her heart to him, Yogesh has been contemplating his feelings towards her. His realisation hit hard after Amba got Kanika's accident done, neither did he feel concern for Kanika nor anger for Amba, this just cemented his belief that he did have feelings for Amba. He would go lengths to earn her affection. Now was one of those chances, where he got to know about the rift between Dev and Vidhi.

Amba : Hello Yogesh, kya hua

Yogesh : Abhi aayatha mere paas updated share holders ke list ke liye

Amba : Kya tumne usse diya to nahin, agar yeh Dev tak pahunchega to usse shak ho jaayega, Dev bahut intelligent hain , woh itna smart hai ki...

Yogesh gets jealous and cuts her off in the middle

Yogesh : Relax Amba.. main bhi kucch kam nahin hoon haan.. maine Abhi ko baaton mein uljhaya aur ab bas woh list ko manipulate karke usse doonga

Amba : I knew it.. tum bhi itne smart ho ki zaroor kucch solution doondoge.. tabhi to maine tumhe apna saathi chunaa hai, agar tum yahan hote to main tumhe apne haathon se tumhara favourite chocolates khilati thi

Yogesh is once again in his dreamland

Yogesh : Tumhare liye to ek aur bonus news hai jise sun kar tumhe bahut khushi hogi

Amba :  Wow batao na, aisa kya hogaya hain

Yogesh : Abhi ne kaha ki Dev aur Vidhi ka aajkal bahut jhagda chal rahaa hain

Amba : Kya matlab hai tumhara.. kis wajah se jhagda ho raha hai?

Yogesh : Ab woh to pata nahin par tum to yehi chahtiho na

Amba : Haan, theek hai yogesh aur kucch pata chale to bataana zaroor

Yogesh cuts the call satisfied that Amba is impressed by him. But little did he know that this interaction has been captured by the secret camera that Dev has set up in his room and now he is being under the constant watch of Dev. Amba too was immersed in her thoughts if there was really any major issue between Dev and Vidhi or if a normal husband wife tiff being blown-up. Dev after watching the scene played in front of him through the monitor thought to take his plan to the next level.

   In the evening, Vidhi's parents visit her. They are received cordially by Dev and Satya. After being offered refreshments, they politely refuse stating that they can't accept anything from daughter's house. Though this irks Dev a bit as he always treats them as his own and did not want them to be so formal yet he chooses to remain quiet and respect their values. Vidhi later on takes them to their bedroom and they chat for a while. She tries to find out about the financial condition of them and Hari Prasad though hesitates at first, shares their condition. She urges them to accept help for the time being from Dev but is reprimanded by her father. Later, after they have left, Vidhi shares her concerns with Dev. 

Vidhi : Samajh nahi aa raha kaise unki help karoon 

Dev : Main bhi wahi soch rahaa hoon, Hariprasad ji to iss ghar ka paani tak nahi peete hai, paisa lena to door ki baat hai

Vidhi : I am sorry, woh bahut purane soch wale hai, aapko bura lagaa na.. maine notice kiya tha

Dev : Thoda bura to lagaa.. main unhe apna maanta hoon aur aise formal rehna accha nahi laga.. par main unke soch ka bhi respect kartaa hoon, bilkul waise jaise tumne maa ke purane soch ko apna liya hai.

Vidhi : Kaash hum unhe badal paate

Dev : Vidhi, woh paise agar hum kisi aur ke naam par unhe denge to... matlab unka friend hai na unke through hum paise pahunchadenge 

Vidhi : Ha yeh plan to bahut accha hai Devji.. main baat karoongi kalu chacha se.

Dev : Tumhara day kaisa tha.. kya kiya tumne

Vidhi : Zyaada kucch nahin, bas ek naya dish banayi aur thoda MBA ki books padhi.. aur aapka kaisa tha.. kucch pata chala

Dev : Arre haan... woh Yogesh ke room mai maine secret camera lagaya tha... Abhi ne use bola ki hamara jhagda chal raha hai aur woh Amba ko bata diya tha... bas yeh soch raha hoon ki Amba ko yakeen kaise dilaye ki jhagdaa bada hai

Vidhi : Haan aise kis baat par hum lad sakte hain

Dev thinks for sometime and comes up with an idea and shares it with Vidhi. After dinner, Vidhi and Dev are waiting for Amba to go to her room. She has to cross their room while going to hers and she makes a point to linger around for a while everytime. They start their drama when tbey notice Amba passing by.

Dev : Kitni baar kaha hai maine ki yeh topic mat lekar aao Vidhi

Vidhi : Aap mere situation ko kyun nahi samajh raheho.

Dev : Maine pehle bhi kahaa tha hamare ghar ke auratein kaam nahin kar sakte hai to tum accept kyun nahin karleti ho iss baat ko

Vidhi : Mere parents ko meri zaroorat hain, agar kucch din main kaam karke kucch money unhe dedoongi to kya problem hai isme

Dev : Maa nahin maanegi aur tumhare papa bhi nahi lenge tumhare paisa

Vidhi : Papa ko main convince karoongi..aap apne maa ko convince kijiye pehle

Dev : Vidhi maine aaj tak maa ke against nahin bola aur abhi tumhe support karunga to kya lagega sabko.. ki nayi biwi aayi hai aur Dev uske side palat gaya. Kitne taane sunne padenge mausi se bhi... tum bas MBA par dhyaan do ab

Vidhi : To bas aapko duniya ki padi hai aur meri nahin.. main bas 21 saal ki hoon to kya ab poori zindagi iss ghar mein hi rahoon... mujhe bhi independent banna hai.. mere padayi ka kya fayidaa jab main kahin bhi apna padaayi istemaal nahin kar paungi to..

Dev : Vidhi maine kahaa na hamare pyaar ko sabse pehle maa ne hi support kiya hai.. aur woh Amba ke against bhi chali gayi thi.. to kya ab main aisi maa ke against jaoon

Vidhi : Aapko mera koi khayaal nahin hai.. hamesha bas apna parivaar ke baareme hi sochte rehte hain... main sone jaa rahi hoon, mujhe aapse ab koi arguement nahin karna hai.. main samajh gayi aapke life main mera importance kya hai

Dev : Tumhe jo sochna hai socho... main kucch nahin kar sakta

 Amba goes away happily now getting to know the root cause of their petty fights. She is now determined to make it bigger. Vidhi slowly opens the door and makes sure that Amba has left the place and laughs out loud and hugs Dev, while Dev is lost on his own thoughts about their fake fight, realising though the tiff was a mock one.. but the points raised by Vidhi were real. This has hit him hard and both retire to bed with concerns of their own.
