I did not feel like to comment and be a part of any kind of argument. Yet just listing the mistakes done by Dhara that led to the extreme conditions whole family is in today.
So lets see why the family hates Dhara?
1. She helped a stranger and saved her life and brought the baby home because there was no one to take care of him. Fine. Things were good till then. But having a history of stealing a child and declaring as her own and denying to return the baby to the parents despite of all the efforts. Family had seen her madness once and were taking precautions to not let her go through the same again.
But she proved them right and once again got obsessed with a baby who she knew was never hers and his mom is alive and has to go away once. She started to yell at her family members who were trying to keep the baby away from her for her own good.She was obsessed to a level that when Chiku was kidnapped she fell ill.
2. She could have denied Shweta's mom's plea to let Shweta stay with them, she knew Shweta is the mother and she has to learn to take care of her child and moreover is not alone. Shweta had her parents to look after the kid as well as his mother.
But she brought Shweta (a stranger) home and allowed to stay with them. This is the same Dhara who was giving privacy gyaan to Raavi when she accidentally posted the home videos on her Social Media profile. She allowed a stranger whom she barely knew to come into their house and invade their privacy with open arms.
3. She trusted Shweta over Rishita. Rishita was saying this again and again to be alert and let her handle her own baby but Dhara always overlooked Rishita's warnings in her blind love for Chiku. She trusted Shweta more than her own family member.
4. She knew Shweta is the one who stole the jewellery along with her ex boyfriend, yet she got her brother-in-law (whom she calls her son) married to her. She blindly let her into the family knowing her true colours and criminal background.
5. Even after Shweta's truth was out in front of the family and she was thrown out, knowing how dangerous she could be, she brought that criminal back into the house. It was because she knew, if she goes Chiku will go along.
6. After Raavi's fibroid removal kaand, when Shweta left with Chiku, she got mad behind him and tried different ways to give him food milk etc etc. which is okay to a level, but she knew that child's mother is harmful for the family.
When she was given a choice to chose between Chiku and the family, she chose family no doubt. But her antics right after that were a clear cut indication to the family that she is not happy with the decision. Antics like throwing vessels, showing restlessness through body language, talking rudely to other family members who were trying to cheer her up.
7. Despite of knowing Shweta is not trustworthy, she got ready to purchase the child from her. Raavi and Rishita tried to warn her. Once Bitten Twice Shy. But her blind love for the kid overtook her senses and she chose to disregard the cautions . To make her happy, all family members blindly signed the papers. During paper signing Chiku was again used by Shweta to distract Dhara and she succeeded.
To get the child's custody she gave away the only source of income of the entire family. Her Chiku Obsession was the reason behind it. This took almost entire family away from her.
8. She decided herself that the reason for the fight between Shiva and Raavi was Arnav and Raavi's job, so without even consulting her, she straight away went to her office and asked her boss to fire her. Imagine this being happened to us. If suddenly our parents feel there is something wrong with our jobs and go and ask our bosses to fire us. Though practically this is not possible but a professional life is one's own decision. Dhara knew Raavi is staying alone. She would need financial dependence but overlooking everything she chose to just get Raavi fired from her job.
The issue between ShiVi was never Arnav. It was lack of trust. But this matter was between a couple and her intervention was needed. A couple only knows what is the issue between them and what would be the potential resolution to it. This took Raavi away from her.
9. This wasn't enough, she again emotionally blackmailed the entire family to follow a plan against the same Shweta who has ditched them again and again. And her obsession to commence the plan brought a 6 month old to jail and then to hospital, which eventually was the reason of Shiva landing back in the fighting rink.
10. Despite of knowing Shiva needs urgent attention and care, she chose to commence the plan over his treatment.His injuries were taken for granted.
11. Humiliating Shweta publicly and thinking she would not retaliate. She should have been handed over to police, But Dhara chose to humiliate her. Knowing how dangerous she has been, how did the underestimate her and thought she wouldn't do something drastic this time.
As a revenge she came and she took Chhutki away.
I have tried to put it in the subtle most way I can. And believe these are not all the points. There are several more.
So if you ask me Dhara ki kya galati? It wasn't a single day's affair.It is a series of events. It started long ago and one thing after the other got piled up. Chhutki getting kidnapped might not have been under her control but her obsession for a child who she knew was never hers was very much in her control. She lost control and ended up gifting misery to the entire family.
And that my friend is the reason of the family hating her.
At present she is having a husband , a child , her house , a source of income. In my eyes, she hasn't lost anything. On the other side, a mother lost her 6 month old baby and a wife lost her healthy husband to mental trauma.
