No it didn’t. It released a day before the public holiday.

The film released the day after Diwali.One of the  3 biggest BO collection days.

For the list of  biggest non holiday openers, check BOI site.It is either Sanju or Brahmastra.Not sure.

The day after Diwali is not a holiday though. I remember because I had to take off to watch the movie which I couldn’t and ended up watching it in the evening.
