Samantha to resume filming after a year long break due to her illness

I hope this means she has now recovered (hopefully fully). Please god let this be true. 

There were recent reports about actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu quitting the keenly awaited upcoming Amazon Prime Video project Citadel because of health issues. However, the actress’ publicist has denied all such ‘news’ as rumours. An official statement from her publicist said, “Anything and everything written about her being replaced in Citadel is rubbish. She will begin the shoot in the second half of January.”

Autoimmune diseases are quite debilitating and have no cure usually 

You can manage it and lead an active life too depending on the person and the disease but you're on remission, not cured

I don't know how she is going to shoot an action film/series when she was barely able to walk a couple of months ago.

What happened to her ?

Auto immune diseases cannot be cured, but can be managed.

She has been under intense medication and therapy.

It is not a continuous one, rather an on and off one.

She can lead a normal active lifestyle but she needs to manage her diet and exercise, but yes it can either go worse again where she might be on a break or if she is very lucky she can continue moderately.

Kudos to her for the remarkable dignity she displayed in her suffering
