Tripti is simply known as an OTT star and she will be turning 30 next month(which means over the hill for an actress).She debuted in 2017 and been over 5 years .
Sure she bagged a big project like Animal but she has a small role in it since Rashmika is playing the lead role and Rashmika has been shooting for a long time whereas Tripti is yet to start shooting.
And I highly doubt that chindi romcom with Vicky will be a hit and help her career. So what do you guys think?
I feel it is never too late for an actress. Just remember when Vidya hit her peak. When your talent is exceptional. The normal rules don't hinder you. They hind those who do not have much to offer.

Vidya was in much better position than Tripti in her initial years.She started with a big role like Parineeta and then starred in series of hits.Tripti did Laila Majnu which went completely unnoticed since then she has been relegated as an ott star.She is talented but her chances of breaking out as a mainstream actor are becoming slim. It's usually the initial 5 years that decide your fate and she has not been able to do much on big screen.

Vidya was struggling long before even Parineeta. She shot for films and left in the middle. Parineeta was the end of her struggles. But for a number of years, she could not manage to get films. Tripti has at least done that.

Vidya was 26 when she did Parineeti ..and there was no looking back for her.At 27 she did huge blockbuster like Lage Raho Munnabhai..At 28 she gave huge hits like Heyy Baby,Bhool Bhulaiyaa,Guru .
Tripti who is approaching 30 next month has nothing to show on big screen except a decent act in a big flop Laila Majnu..She is a good actress not denying but she has not been able to make it big around the same age when Vidya had far bigger mainstream achievements

I don’t believe there is a time limit. Back in Vidya’s day 26 was considered too old to start acting. Times have progressed since then. I am pretty sure Tripti has plenty of time left to leave her mark. When you have talent you break conventional rules is my point.
She can act and she's not set out herself to be a commercial actress, judging by her movie choices so far. Neither is she backing out of playing second fiddle roles if her character is written well, like that in Animal. Keeping that in mind, she's gonna be alright and have plenty of time to prove herself as an able actress like Tabu. Tabu didn't enjoy so much name and fame or get to show her acting prowess when she was a commercial actress back in the day or playing second fiddle to big heroes.
If she proves that she can act off her pants then she would get cast in roles that require a younger Tabu. She fits right into that demographic and i think that's what Tripti is trying to establish herself as. The era of Khans and Kumars, Kapoors is long over, this is the new media that audience is signing to watch. She could be the dark horse that leaves behind all Ananyas, Jhanvis, and Taras and solidify her place in the industry with longevity.
