NethraReya: "Washy needs to be groomed as a proper batsman for India. An elegant left-hander who has played some handy knocks at Gabba and against England too. India don't have the luxury of many left-handers, Washy can be that left-hander."
Not out is the verdict. Batter survived.
At 7.4over: Siraj to Janneman Malan, FOUR runs
Wow, that's gorgeous! Siraj overmatches and Malan laces that through extra cover. Slow outfield or not, that was headed just one way. What timing
Siraj to Janneman Malan, OUT
Deep square was positioned just prior to this delivery and guess what? Malan has holed out to the lone man in the region. Siraj bangs one in short but this one doesn't rise as much as Malan thought, so he goes through with the pull but gets no timing behind it and finds the fielder. Avesh Khan didn't have to move an inch in taking that catch.
