Part 1

It’s a crowded area with lots of people moving around

In that busy area lies a tiny office with a sign board

‘ Geet Detective Agency’

It was Geet’s dream to become a detective. But her lack of experience and her being a women came in way of here getting hired

But she was not the one to get bogged down. She opened her own detective agency

Didi! Didi! Chai

Geet comes out of her daydreams hearing Chintu calling her name

G- Thanks Chintu

Chintu- Didi 6 mahine toh ho gaye makhiyaan maarte huye. Iss vaar rent nahi diya office ka toh office band

Geet sinks down in her chair

G- I know. Aur use bhi bhayanak

Chintu- who kya?

G- Shaadi. 6 mahine ki mauhlat maangi thi baba se. Kuch nahi hua. Ab baba pakadke shaadi kara denge

She buries her face

Chintu- Ab didi uncle ji bhi kya karein, apke peeche aapki do behene bhi toh hai naa

G-Toh unki shaadi kara dein naa

Chintu- Himmat hai toh jaake bol do. Himmat hai?

Geet looks at Chintu and grumbles, she knows she can’t’ say anything to ger father. He is too strict & the patriarch of their middle-class conservative family. And most importantly her baba is stubborn, just like her

G-uurggg!!!

Chintu- Waise didi aapke naam ka ye lifafa deke gaya hai koi bahar

G- Mere naam ka?

Geet proceeds to open the heavy envelope as Chintu sees himself out

Envelop has a whole bunch of cash money and a letter

Geet starts reading the letter

Ms Geet

Envelop mein aapko pachaas hazzaar (50, 000) rupees milenge. Ye aapka advance payment hai. Baaki ke paise aapko kaam ke baad milenge. Aap ye kaam karna chahein toh apne office ke neeche aa sakti hain. Saamne aapko ek black sedan khadi milegi. Usmein baith jaayiye baaki baatein wahin karenge. Aur agar aap ye kaam nahi karna chahti toh aap ye paise rakh sakti hain

-MSG

Geet finishes reading

G- MSG?

Geet ko samajh nahi aaraha kya akre. Kaam kya hai ye jaane ki curiosity bhi hai. Finally, ek kaam aaya hai uski excitement bhi hai. Paise bhi chahiye par ye darr bhi hai ki ye kaisa kaam hoga aur itni secrecy kyun hai?

Curiosity gets better of her, and she finds herself on the road under looking for a black car

She finds a black sedan parked on the road.

The car is is sticking out like a sore thumb in that busy overpopulated marketplace

She cautiously walks towards the car

The driver in his white uniform approaches her

‘Miss Geet’

She nods

He opens the passenger door for her

She looks inside to see a man in a black suit and wearing black shades sitting in there

He looks someone of high stature and class, someone with money

That she expected

But she had not expected that the man would be almost of her age. Maybe a few years older but he was younger than her expectation

He speaks up and Geet realizes his voice matches his physique, he had a manly commanding voice

‘Miss Geet, please sit.

Geet obeys & sits

G- Are you MSG?

She inquires

He nods without elaborating more

Geet is back to her office pondering about what happened

She re-looks at the new envelope that she got

The envelope has a picture of a scar

‘Aap mujhe iss sheher mein Shalini, Shalu naam ki ladki ka pata lagayengi. Umar 19-20. Haath pe aisa ek scar. Dhyaan rahe, pata chalein toh aap bass mujhe batayengi. Aaap kisi se koi baat nahi karengi iss barein mein. Aapke paas 3 din hain iss kaam ke liye. Baaki paise kaam ke baad aapko mil jaayenge’

Geet rewinds the instruction the man gave to her
