Didn’t know it was releasing in the IMAX format but I am too late because the entire weekend is sold out. :-0
I am a culprit because I bought IMAX tickets for all three days of the weekend haha ☺️
Okay so what is the budget of Brahmastra?
PS budget is 500 crore. But that cost is for both the parts. That's how part 1 would be 250 crore.
Same with Brahmastra RK and Ayan during press said 410 cr is overall vfx budget of 3 parts.

They may have said it but everyone knows it’s not true. The number was always referred to as budget for the first part. How can one know the budget without even starting the filming ? There were massive delays in the film causing increase in costs. The same may or may not happen in the next part but no one can give an accurate budget of a trilogy when they haven’t even shot the second part. There’s no way a VFX heavy film like Brahmastra was made on merely 130-135 crores when films like Vikram vedha have that kind of budget. Ranbir’s fee for first part alone would have been more than 30 cr.

There are other things other than VFX too.
Please go edit Wiki too 😆😆

Ranbir did not take a single penny for the film, Ayan and komal has confirmed that. The producers Dharma and Disney must have allocated certain amount of money for various depts like vfx, action etc.
It's a trilogy not a one off. So budget allocation must have been done keeping in mind the 3 parts. Of course the first one had to be a hit to have second and third part subsequently. But Dharma/Ayan have always said it's a 3 part series and story/plot of part 1 confirms that.
Nobody knows the real budget except the producers, everyone else are just speculating. The film has done really well hence Disney and dharma ae making the next 2 parts.
And wiki is the correct source of information 😆 ok
