Let me help. Crystal originally said, this will show Brahmastra because it is making 80 Cr on the same budget. Then they realized this means, PS1 will have the same box office verdict as Brahmastra if it's the same budget and same opening. Now here we are. 😆

PS1 budget is only 250 crore. Brahmastra's was 410.

Ah okay. I was just going by what the other user said. It's a solid number regardless of budget, and unlike Brahmastra, it is facing competition in most key markets.

The makers have clarified Brahmastra budget is not 410cr  lol and no way does PSI looks 250 cr.. Min 350cr Or more

PS1 doesnt have that much vfx I think, the story is more characters and intrigue and shot in real locations, not some big time war scenes, so more like chanakya-chandragupta and bharat ek khoj types, mani's style is also like that 

also none of the actors are top tier stars even in tamil (like vijay and ajit) so the cast wont cost much and it was made on time so budget will be controlled

PS budget is 500 crore. But that cost is for both the parts. That's how part 1 would be 250 crore.
