The wait is finally over!
House of the Dragon is a fantasy drama series that is a prequel to the Game of Thrones TV series. It is based on G.R.R. Martin's fantasy novel "Fire & Blood". The series is created by GRR Martin and Ryan J. Condal for HBO. Set two hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen, the events leading up to and covering the Targaryen war of succession, known as the "Dance of the Dragons".
The series will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on August 21. But Indian fans will only be able to watch it on Disney+ Hotstar the next day.
Episodes in total - 10
It will run till October 24, 2022, with one episode releasing per week.
