Why are we watching this crap?

Quite an intriguing well shot melancholic promo.

They can hit it out of the park with a nice storyline!

I only watch snippets of this show scrolling through social media, the chemistry of the lead pair is unique. A nice story could make it more interesting if they can keep the depressive ITV tropes away and script something unique.
