Yes. It even got a season 2 without the original male lead but didn't reach the heights of the original and has since gone off air too.

So the makers tried another trick. They brought in the original male lead as a totally different character and put him opposite the mum but the magic was gone and no-one was interested anymore so the show went off air.

even with the storyline so far, imlie had the potential to be run for much longer if they hadn't rushed through the important tracks. For an example arylie's falling in love phase post malini's PF could have been longer. But no, makers had a bullet train to catch hence ~200 episodes mein sab wrap karna tha. even YKW got more episodes than aryan 😭

This has been one show where I have never once stopped watching completely. It has been extremely engaging and the leads make me feel so connected to the characters. It’s a running joke in my house that 10 years from now my husband will ask me if i still am in love with ASR and I will say always.

if they are to end this perhaps my hope is that they tie up lose ends appropriately and logically and end it on a good note so that we get our closure.

If I think that maybe FK and STK are getting some amazing offers besides this show that they want to explore and this might be their way out, it makes me feel better about the whole thing. That’s just me. Who would blame them. They have done everything possible for the show. Played almost all scenarios amazingly. After this track to be honest who knows what khichri will come our way as the only palatable next plot line might be amnesia. Hopefully that is why this show is ending and not for other reasons and for me personally it gives me better closure and seems a more palatable reason that the leads have other better options than the show ending on the whim of a PH or channel based on some arbitrary goal line that they keep moving not appreciating the talent, potential, and worth of the leads. my connection and loyalty is to the leads not to the PH and channels. For some odd reason if FK and STK walk away I am cool with it.

Sorry for my shocked ramblings. I hope I haven’t offended anyone. We all have different point of views and coping mechanisms. ❤️

To be honest , though the news has come out of nowhere and is definitely a shock , I’d be fine if they execute the current track with the respect it deserves and end on a positive note .. it had to happen sooner or later .. if this is it .. make it memorable for everyone involved…

As for FK and STK , they are enormously talented actors and fir sure will come across other avenues to explore.. that being said , FK’s ASR will forever have a piece of my heart ❤️ .. If I am being candid , I don’t think I ll come across another such wonderfully written and even more lovingly performed ML on ITV, fir a long long time.. heck even if FK plays other characters in the future, I will still remain partial to his ASR .. so hard to upstage this gem that FK brought life to … so glad got to know the wonderful actor that FK is through Imlie’s ASR …

PS: FK you better NOT shave off that beard of yours 😄 .. it made u look hot as fck 🔥

Yaar even after getting Arylie married they could have shown a lot like the revenge track could have easily stretched for 50 episodes then Imlie falling in love, dealing with her past on the face of her future. Surpita could have been established nicely. Confession could have taken another week or so then post- confession issues rather than rushing to pregnancy.

Story of 200 episodes was condensed in 50 episodes

Me too.. I am taking this as a challenge to take my mind off the present scenario of our show 😄 Even though I have no clue which show it is, I will hunt it down.

First of all on article it's mentioned imlie daughter 🙄 sugar is still legally Malini daughter maybe Arylie may adopt her. Whatever at least finish the Arylie end by showing happy family for themselves, their own cheeku 2.0. they deserve that happiness.
