I am liking this trio - Meeti, Arpita & Narmada 😌

In a time where in laws play it dirty in their kids lives, out of overpossessiveness, it's really refreshing to see that these 3 ladies are being able to show the mirror to their kid/brother. Thank you CVs for not turning Narmada negative again and I hope you continue keeping her like this in the coming episodes too. If you grant this wish, I will forget Narmada's old kaands and treat it as a bad dream that never happened in the past episodes.

Now coming to the title topic, starting with Arpita, we got a sister to whom her brother is like her own kid, yet didn't hesitate to vocalise the truth to Aryan when she said ,"Jisne yeh gandgi failayi h saaf bhi wahi krega", as it symbolised what his role was in Arylie separation.

Then we have Narmada reminding him,'Tu ne jo khoya hai, Imlie ne bhi vahi khoya hai. Jo tera dard hai, Imlie ka bhi vahi dard hai'. Never expected Narmada to speak such sensible words to Aru, especially when she gets to see his injured face daily for the past 5+ years.

https://twitter.com/i/status/1550668060595462145

And the one I liked the most was Meeti, especially because having been through struggles only throughout her life, she didn't turn bitter seeing the same happening with her daughter and blame Aryan for it. Instead, she understood that her daughter too was equally responsible for whatever happened, offered Imlie all the needed support in her weak times without blaming her for anything and yet today used the right opportunity to get it into Imlie's brains that everything she thinks or assumes should not be right. That's how it should be done by a loving yet unbiased parent. Meeti didn't have to think for a second before she questioned Imlie like when Imlie didn't call him or check about him all these 5years, what made her think that she could blame Aryan for the same. Though personally I hold Aryan more responsible for not taking the first initiative to check about Imlie's wellbeing, to see Imlie shocked at that question of Meeti, gave me a hope that CVs are hearing our plea to treat Imlie as a human being with her own set of flaws.

These 3ladies have been seeing the pain their loved ones are going through daily because of the other half, for the past 5years; yet they are not being biased in their thoughts. That's a really welcoming & positive move by the CVs and I guess these 3ladies were in touch with each other all these 5years, because of why the Rathore ladies were excited with Aryan's Pagdandiya trip and didn't want him to return soon. Good going Muskaan & team. πŸ‘

thanks for the tags enlightened and keeping me updated -- I don't feel the separation angst to be honest. bit too filmy and not realistic enough to give me pangs and feels

hoping the drama will grow back on me but as of now, it is strictly watch episode or two every couple of days. 🀷

I have replied to you on my Aryan realisation thread. Hope you read the long essay πŸ˜† with a calm mind before replying.

I am enjoying the post leap episodes except for the dukh about what they have done with Malini's character. If not for my laziness and time constraints I would have been making more threads to have some more discussions about some of my gut feelings about upcoming episodes, about which I am excited if that is how we will be getting it. But, with having to take breaks in between to attend to my MIL, which will affect the continuity in discussions, I am just restraining myself every time I have an urge to make a post. πŸ˜”

thanks for letting me know -- it wasn't tagged and so I would have missed it otherwise.

my favourite trope is separated couple reunion but in this case, it is not working for me. I find it strange how any of these characters are reacting including arpita and narmada -- it doesn't seem as realistic or natural. people keep saying that is ITV but personally, I need to have some realism grounding in a story so that I can feel angst and pangs. even when it is something like sci-fi, the emotions and reactions at least need to feel authentic. otherwise, I disconnect which is what has been happening with me. with each track, am getting more and more detached from these characters. so I am also not inspired to make posts though I have random thoughts on wider issues here and there. 🀷

Yes the Trio!!

Arpita was always a darling she is still a darling. The only one who could actually knock some sense in her UNB when his Jungli is not around. Who could actually to an extend control Aryan is Arpita. The was she dominates over him I love it. It has to he that way. She is the elder one and being an elder sister myself I know how it has to be. Sometimes idiot brothers thinks they know everything. They can handle everything or whatever they did or doing it has to be that way but the eldest sometimes has to be strict and show them that there could be a better path only if they are willing to see it. To persuade them is indeed a tough job because idiot brothers don't get it sometimes.

As far as Narmada is concerned I am relieved that Narmada knows now that without Imlie her Aryan is a lost case. I hope she keeps that in mind when Imlie comes back. It's like when Aryan and Imlie was not married she was all good to Imlie after marriage after BM's kaan bharna she had the shift I don't want that again. When Imlie used to say her Kakima she was like ma but when she started calling her ma she became grey sasu ma. I just want her to be sensible when Imlie returns bas

Meethi, meethi as I mentioned in some other post is a pure soul. A gem. She understood Aryan back and still trying to understand his side. I just loved the way she look at things unbiased. She knew her daughter has suffered but she knows Aryan must have suffered too because she could see Aryan's love for Imlie when he first came to PD she still sees that love hidden behind the pain in his eyes. Just like her daughter she knows her son in law is also the stubborn one. She knows he must have collapsed just like her daughter. Meethi is a very broad minded person. I like her very much for that.

Bold - Hi-5 for this. Me too being the eldest one with my brother being the youngest, I can relate to this. Sometimes they eat your brains with their ghonchu harkatein and you literally feel like whacking them even after becoming father to their kids. In Cheeni's words...Stupid batameez boys. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Btw, we have more people agreeing to our thoughts on Arpi & Meeti. See the below TT thread.

Hi-fi to you too.

It has always been this way right. Arpita trusted Imlie like aankh band karke from the start. Same with Meethi she has seen Aryan's love for Imlie without even Aryan realising it so yes this insane trust is the need of the hour specially when two idiot people who supposedly trusted each other to such an extend that no one can break their trust has lost their mind someone needs to be there who is sensible in either side

I am trying to understand your dilemma. And I think it's the disconnect you are feeling with Imlie's character, plus the 5-year leap that's causing the detachment for you. In my case, I will give it to FK & STK for managing to do the wonder once again for me with their acting. Plus Keva. Otw, if I am to dissect everything based on logic, I would have by now left the show after giving an earful to the CVs for playing with Aryan's character, to the extent of showing him an insensitive human being. But since FK successfully conveyed the excruciating pain Aryan is in, with his stupendous acting in his introductory scene post leap and adding to it the way the execution of episodes have improved post leap, I decided to be optimistic about the show one more time. That's all. 😊

Beautiful analysis as always dear. Meethi has always been sensible and rational. Hope she stays that way. Arpi would do anything to protect her bro and imlie, she just needs to be more stern and set boundaries with AC & MC. I don’t have anY hope or expectations for Narmada.. she can flip anytime
