I strongly believe that I don't need a man to derive strength from. That does not mean the man I love holds less place in my life. I love him more than I love myself and he is the sun around which my world revolves. But that does not mean I can't get a hold of my life if he is not around.

Rather I believe man and woman are complimentary to each other and they derive strength from each other.

There are many single woman out there who fights their own struggles and make a way in life without any support of husbands and families

Bro, they have been clear from Day 1 ki while Cheeni considers Imlie everything, she doesn't have the Maa-Beti bond in between them. How I wish Imlie could have been the fun mausi for Cheeni 😭 (this is in AU)

Its not as if Imlie was well to do before Aryan. She used to get by because *she worked in a city* not only that she worked as a senior journalist, usse bhi badi baat, humari Gonchu ji usse paise nahi leta tha Ghar mein rehne ke liye. She used to give money to her mom. Shaadi ke baad toh everything would have been taken care of Aru despite Imlie protesting 😆

I think it makes sense for her to have difficulties in getting by. But yeh important baat hai ki she never asked Aryan for money, nor did she DEFAME him anywhere while she could have. She respects her ABP itna, that defaming him in front of her own villagers is unacceptable.. that's something really very nice. But alas yeh sab kuch logon ko nahi dikhta.

Yes, she's guilty that she's not able to give a good childhood to Cheeni, provide money to mom, which is 😭

But she's also teaching her independency and adaptability/adjustment which I think every child needs a lesson in.

And yes u r right, now i have this clarity that Aryan was not just a man or lover for Imlie when we say ASR the mentor he was a rock solid support for her basically her backbone, her every insecurity was taken care of by him. I remember during Jo track we were having this discussion why Imlie does not feel jealousy at all when ant wife would turn insecure at the thought of a female friend hanging around ur husband for so long. Bcz Aryan offered her that security on their relationship which was not there with AKT🤢.

So, when she got separated from Aryan her loosing her self confidence makes complete sense. Every woman here on this forum as well has that one person from which we derive our support from and loosing the same person will cause damage which we are seeing now in the portrayal of Imlie.

Now she is barely surviving reasons being her Amma and Cheeni, us thinking why she can't try to hold onto herself and provide a better life to Cheeni while working in a city becomes a question as to how much you are able to undestand Imlie as a woman. She is emotionally broken after her miscarriage and separation which hasn't even healed yet despite the so called 5 yr leap How do u expect her to build back her confidence & go live in the city again from where she got only pain. That's why they gave her this monolog with Cheeni that she wouldn't want to go back to the city bcz she has been betrayed there.

And how important Aryan is for her is visible from the fact that even after blaming him for pushing her into a dangerous situation that caused the miscarriage she has never mentioned abt the same to anyone as Neelu said Jo hai wo un dono ke hi beech hai puri duniya mein uska dhindhora nhi peeta hai dono ne not even Aryan.

Same Lethaji and I think all woman out here will agree to the fact that even if the man in her life is not there by her side she would still manage herself well and go on with her life but that's bcz we are seeing Aryan as just Imlie's lover which is not true in case of Imlie.

He was not just a lover, husband to her that was the case when she was with AKT so post breakup with him by Aryan's suport she came out with flying colours but in case of Aryan it's totally different after her Amma or Dada, Aryan was the guiding light to her life starting from her mentor then her friend then her husband and lover, he has played every role in her life which is not normal for the woman of today's generation since we live by the 50-50 concept in our relationships like there is this equality with which we treat each other.

That's why disappearance of Aryan from her life has caused enough void and the miscarriage has lead to a severe blow to her self confidence which could have healed if ASR was still by her side but alas the separation made it into a wound which needs medicine now.

And she might even go like 'Yeh Hero Jii toh sach main Imliya ke Hero Jii nikle'... So Aryan and Cheeni's bond is important..

I do not want to get into Imlie's becharapana.. I wanted her to thrive and be successful and idhar iske pass ek waqt ka khaane ka bhi paise nahi hai.. Aryan in the past has taught her to aim high, dream big and achieve those goals, and she Imlie had chosen a place like PD to live in five years back, I mean why would she even do that, it doesn't make any sense... Isse better if she had shifted to another city like Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Hyderabad or anywhere in the Country, with her degree and experience she would have been a top shot journalist.. But idhar toh Imlie herself has gone and hit her leg on the khulhadi moving to PD.. So I am not going into her helplessness.. I don't get her logic behind it..

Aryan in total Aryan Singh Rathore form brought the whole toy shop for Little Miss Sugar.. And I liked how he gave it back to the shop keeper and made the other kids understand not to differentiate.. And you know every second he is reminded of Imlie and the tough times she faced, and with every memory surfacing of hers he gave a shut up call to the shop keeper and the onlookers with double force... It was like he was defending Imlie all over again, without even knowing he was being the champion in her (Imlie) corner like always, yeh hui na baat!!! I like this subtle touch..
