Which era of Bollywood had the best songs overall?

1970's had the best music- be it melody , composition or lyrics or styling and in some cases picturesque locations.

No era can beat the music (and also movies) of 70's hindi cinema

Voted for Before 70s, I'd say 50s, 60s, 70s. I keep going back to these old songs mostly. I'm turning into my parents. 

60s 70s probably were classy ,,,,,but its before i was born ....i would go with what i witnessed while growing up

2000-2009, every kind of music were being made be it 90s dholak tabla or more refreshing as shankar ehsan loy or rehman music infact vishal shekher were too good during mid to late 2000,

while 90s had very limited sort of music , same kind of songs were churning out over the years
