Honestly, the fangirls are extremely delusional.

To put it into context, "aunty" is used in an insulting/mocking manner because older people, historically, have been known to be bigoted, less willing to change the rules, and more likely to follow old-school code while young people are known to be free-spirited, passionate, and open to new ideas.

I won't say anything, because I've been there. When I was 13-16, I loved reading stories about "manly" and "hot" guys, and I totally couldn't see through the emotional trauma those MLs were inflicting on the FLs. But, now that I'm a little older, I just want a man who respects me regardless of how he looks, and at the same time, I want to protect others from starting an emotionally draining relationship.

Give it some time. Let them meet people, debate their opinions, succeed and get hurt in the process. Life is all about growth and the willingness to change. Yes, it is somewhat annoying how they shoot down our opinions by tagging us as "Aunties." But, I guarantee you, one day, they will go through the same lessons we have gone through, and they will meet us at a middle ground.
