The basic premise:

Shehroz is a rich, handsome, young successful businessman who lives with his parents : Naima, who got paralysed while he was studying in college due to stroke. Wahab, who is a successful businessman but Shehroz does not like him because he blames his father for her mother's condition. Shehroz has been a lonely kid who got neglected by his father and he is extremely close to his mother. He has become bitter and turned into a rude, arrogant man.

Ushna is an adopted daughter of Furqan and Zainab. Furqan dies in a natural death due to cancer while Ushna is still in college. Her mother and she starts to live a miserable life after her father's death. Ushna is a college topper and has huge self respect and she does not back down in front of anyone. They both have to move to Zainab's greedy bothers' home where they get disrespected and insulted by their family members except Ushna's cousin Sufiyan who wants to marry her.

Zainab's sister in law fix Zainab's marriage with Wahab as Naima is looking for a wife who can take care of her husband considering she is disabled. Zainab says yes to marriage for Ushna's financially secure future as Wahab is very rich.

Wahab is a sensible man and loves his wife.

Both Ushna and Shehroz are not happy with the marriage but Zainab and Wahab get married and Ushna and Zainab move to Wahab's house.

Naima gets to know that Ushna is adopted from Zainab and puts her wish to marry Shehroz and Ushna. Ushna is not aware of her adoption.

Both Ushna and Shehroz kept meeting coincidentally before Zainab and Wahab's marriage and ended up fighting always. They hate each other and aren't ready to marry. But Ushna's adoption truth from Sufiyan breaks her and she sees Shehroz giving her emotional support and they finally get married.

Congratulations everyone for making Aik Sitam Aur the first Pakistani drama to reach thread 14.

Anmol and Usama have mind blowing chemistry. They look stunning together. They both have done one episodic titled 'Badnaam Mohabbat' and a drama called 'Noor'. This is their third project and we absolutely love their chemistry. They have also done a photoshoot together and came in a show good morning pakistan. And gave an interview to Fuchsia Magazine.

We have properly discussed about the show in last 13 threads. This thread we have made after the show ended considering many things about the show and cast are still keeping us engaged.

It is a kind of a farewell thread for Aik Sitam Aur as the show kept many of us engaged and brought together to have fun. We still have lots of updates and things to discuss.

Here, I am mentioning the journey of 14 Threads :

Who had thought that a soap in PTV will keep us this engaged that we would spend discussing 14 threads and it is still not ending. From the chemistry of leads for which we all signed up the drama to bashing the villains of the show and which will end up in enjoying the off-screen drama. The Sitam never ended for us but we all enjoyed the Sitam as it brought us together, having all the fun in this forum and getting emotional at times. The best part of this journey was we got to know a lot of stuff, we discussed every damn thing under the sun, roasting bluntly each other's favourites on face and none get offended. We had difference of opinions but each one of us has been tolerant and respectful that even with extreme opinions, things never got heated up or ugly. What a journey, it had been!!
