I will say its the making of daily soaps that has made it so bad now.... they really need to enforce finite series.

yes they were good and content wise amazing and kept audience hooked with the quality

Dd series were finite series and there were really good shows. No Tham jaam. Simply enjoyable.

Hum Paanch was Ekta yes... on zee tv ... surprising na? I have watched quite a few episodes of it ..... that also ran waise for a long time... hmmm... so tab quality phir bhi better thhi... but since originality and creativity deteriorated... now shows are long running but with crap storylines....

There was another show... Neena Gupta's... Saans... I guess on star plus ... such class even though it was about EMA.

Maine DD Bombay ke marathi shows bhi dekhe hai... those also were so good...

I am not watching many shows now so dont really know how bad things are across the board. DD shows ka abhi ka haal no idea.

Yes and many were based on books or true life stories... matlab variety was amazing.... and comedy/satire shows too....Flop Show, Wagle ki Duniya, Mr. Yogi ( not sure of the name of the show but this was the character ), Mungerilal ke haseen sapne.... all classics...

Ohh god How correct I can be … they literally chopped off complete scene where Ragini was shouting at Deep jo bts sbne dekha ta …. and started after that … maine kaha ta na editors with worst choices … maine to phle hi kaha ta ni dikhayenge … shoot hi kyu kia ta ? 🤣
