Don't know if you have seen , but there is specific scene dedicated to help Ram get over his insecurity/jealousy/possessiveness whatever u call it around Krish which happens after kidnapping (the date on which according to Nandini, Priya had a weak moment)
So Krish asks Priya doesn't she realize how beautiful she is .. To which Pri says, no I don't. Because all this while Mr. Kapoor was not there with me and it is he who makes me feel beautiful and Ram eavesdropped this whole conversation.
So Priya can have sex with Krish, but can't accept even a beauty compliment from him even when Ram is not in the scene.. Simply wonderful !!🤗
Nandu apparently all this while knew Priya was cheating but didn't tell Ram for the fear of hurting him.. So What shub muhurat was this woman waiting for??
In spite of having suspicions she lets Priya help them by risking her life and meeting the manager to bring justice to VK.. Lets her be a part of the pooja kept for VK etc etc, doesn't reveal it even when the will is named on Priya .. Brilliant !!!
There is no weight in Priya's lie. Not even a single proof that indicates infidelity .
I think Ram succumbed to this lie , though it defies all logic , because it was the easiest thing to do. There were 2 deaths in his family because of Soods, so if he fights for Priya's innocence , it would mean he is being inconsiderate towards his grieving family.
Nandini made her wishes clear, she wanted Ram to forget and remove this curse called Priya from their life and by herself lying Priya just made it easy for Ram to hate her and unconditionally be there for his family and not be torn in this moral dilemma of choosing between wife and mother .
Remember the diwali dialogue where Pri promises Ram that if at all there comes a situation in life where he will have to choose between his old relations and her , she will not put him through that and rather walk away and that's what she did. ( Added to this was the promise she made to Nandini, threat to Pihu's life + guilt of Shivi and VK death + protecting Eshaan's future )
As if Priya has not suffered enough because of her promises, she still goes on promising Nandini post leap as well . Someone put a cello tape on this girls' mouth to prevent her from promising anything to anybody

It’s time Ram should know of Nandu, isn’t it? He knows that he isn’t “her son” but her behaviour had always been nice, just nice…

there is a side to her that he isn’t aware about, even all of us are in the dark, that she isn’t what she shows herself to be… until the circumstance plays out.
Remember Pri took the blame of Adi, we were all okay, but in case of Ishan, we are all railed up…

They have established equivalence of Ram and Pri since before then too. But this is when it was overtly spoken.
Its high time Ram saw Nandu's real face, right? And we all expect him to see through her lies.
Lets consider one scenario here - Imagine if Priya had never caught MS red handed. Nobody got to know about MS adultery. MS would continue to visit Rakhee secretly and bring home kachoris from Jaipur to cover up his guilt. Everyone in Sood family would happily continue living their lives, including Priya. She would be a happy person like her sisters. As an adult, she would not believe it if someone came and told her the truth. Not without solid proof. Because no one will believe such a thing about their parent unless they get a harsh reality check which Priya got as a child and that shaped her perspective. She got cynical about the world and practical coz it was she who saw the truth with her own eyes. Not MM, not any of her sisters. Which is why her sisters didn't have the kind of bitterness Priya had. At an age when kids would develop the idea of a fairy tale based on the happy family around them (not talking about 5-6 when fairy tales mean magic and fairies and stuff) Priya's illusion of a happy family was broken brutally.
On the other hand, you have Ram. As a child, he saw only love and he received only love. He lived by his father's principles which taught him how to love someone unconditionally. He never thought of love as some kind of business where you get something when you give. Nandu entered his life and she put on a show of loving him. Maybe to please VK and Ram who had never known what it is to be lied to, to shower fake love fell for it. He thought Nandu loves him despite not being his mother and this left a deep sense of gratitude towards her. So he vowed to do anything and everything in his power to keep her happy and love his father's extended family like his own. I can say this based out of my personal experience. When someone who isn't your biological parent - be it your relative like grandpa, maasi or mama raises you in your parent's absence, provides you with the basic necessities in life - you develop a deep sense of gratitude towards them. Because you believe that they went out of their way to give you a good life despite you not being their primary responsibility. I am not emotional as a person like Ram. I am quite objective myself but when you have the veil of gratitude in front of your eyes, your heart will not let your mind see through few things even though sometimes the truth could be glaring in your eyes. My friend who had barely known me for a couple of years told me once that maybe what you see and believe is not the truth. And this was when I was an adult and I was a working professional. But I brushed her remark aside. But some time later I began to realise things coz I got an ugly reality check in life. I am thankful for that coz it made me look at things in the right perspective. For Ram to see through Nandu, something drastic needs to happen. Even if Priya or Brinda or anyone else tells him the truth he will not believe it straight away. The reality needs to unfold itself in an unpleasant manner for him to see Nandu for who she truly is.
Now one might point out that Ram believed Priya when she told him that Nandu blackmailed her using Pihu. The reason why Ram believed it was bcoz he thought Nandu was acting out of his best interests and given her depression (which is another lie Ram needs to discover) he thought she acted out of it. For Ram to see Nandu's evil side, he needs to become aware of the complete truth - he needs to know he is nothing more than a cash cow for her and that she will dispose of him in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that Nandu knows Shubhu is good for nothing. Even if Ram were to transfer the entire property to Shubhu, he is not capable of maintaining it, let alone growing it. If Shubhu and Nandu inherit all the money, they will lose it as quickly as they got it. So they need Ram to continue fulfilling their needs. While Ram continues to blame the Soods and they should be held accountable for their actions - he needs to know that Nandu and Shubhu manipulated the situation in the first place which led to Shivi's death. He should not only get to know that Ishaan pushed Shivi and not Priya, he should also get to know that Shivi faked being tortured by Soods and she pushed Ishaan to a point of no return. I have no love for the teen Ishaan. He was a brat but he was a byproduct of Varun's upbringing. Ishaan stayed only with Varun. Was he raised by Sara or the Soods he wouldn't be blind to his father's manipulations. But regardless, Varun was his dad and he was too young to understand the ramifications of VK's murder. He did not even know VK and his father was being accused of murdering him. He was already traumatized and Shivi made it worse by rubbing it in his face repeatedly. Anyone was bound to lose their calm. Had Shivi not stood at the edge of the stairs, she would have just sustained minor injuries. She would have blamed Soods one way or another but the truth would have come out eventually and Ram would have blasted Shivi for her foolishness. Ram would have known how his own family tried to sabotage Shivi's and his marriage. And this would have deepened his trust on Priya and strengthened his bond with her and Sood family. No matter the mistakes Sood family committed, their love for Ram was not fake unlike Nandu and Shubhu.

Though proved innocent , his acting career was doomed forever .
On the other hand all Ram has to do to acquit himself from these charges is fill Priya's forehead with vermillion and conduct a jagrata and he will probably get the deal as well..
I so wish Akki comes back as a superstar with so much popularity , money and fan support that the Kapoors never dare to insult or look down upon him again.

Ishaan seems to be the only matchmaker and surprisingly Sandy and Shubhum are next in their matchmaking. Everyone else only including ViRa are proving to be of no use 🤣
