Fine...
I distinctly tried not to think about this from offscreen dynamics...
Execution is definitely problematic and there are certain factors at play plus real life relationships that it make it look weird.
All i am saying is ... Virakhi has been promoted (even till today) as some one true love and eternal love for which V gave a vaada that effectively spoiled his future if not for his other vaada to KJ and his marriage to Sai.
P has been harping about the vaada and is not ready to move on... Even after all this.
But utna kuch content aur background nahi hai unki story main ki ye believeable lage. And that's the makers fault...
Compared to that other versions have atleast tried to give some backing to the whole stupidity of that godforsaken vaada
Yes.
People who are married for years and have 2 kids and separated - also move on after a couple of years.
Arey it was not intended to mention offscreen but I am saying about y virakhi is cringe n protecting When there was not much touching touching romance but simple handhold n standing to each other with proximity then stans r getting frustrated with that. If makers given enough romantic scenes of sairat Stans with good proximity, uninterrupted emotional or good conversation with long duration with perfect directions. There was 1 fb scene were virat talking to baby near sai tummy n the latest dream scene were virat kissing pregnant sai tummy both r looked very weird they didn't earn shown them in single frame it looked like virat kissing n talking to a wall. Even in ekta serial we can see both FL n vamp romancing ML but it will never look cringworthy, pukeworthy n uncomfortable because they know how to keep boundaries between FL- ML n ML-VampFine...

Makers didn't even bothered to show dismantling pillow wall or sairat sleep by cuddling each other but they showed samrakhi cringe. They only showed sai n virat bed scene during the sam birthday night then recent one where sai shares her pregnancy dream to virat
Oh yes I'm aware of laganchi bedi. Couldn't get the shirt form.
I beg to differ on some level though. And this is another reason why I feel their conceptualisation and execution differs. Atleast they were on track and consistent during their initial phase. And then due to various reasons they have compromised on execution and they never really recovered (wonder if they really want to recover).
I’m not sure if I cant translate my POV clearly but will try.
I agree that there was not much of love scenes to establish a strong love story. They in fact didn’t delve much or give time to let love blossom there.
It was a mere attraction that you would have with someone you may feel a connection with. I will now explain why I believe so and why I feel they lost the plot and they digressed from their OG concept over a period of time. And why LB gives me that perspective (I haven’t watched it, just going by what I have read here).
Remember V during his first altercation with P in his room after Sai’s ousting. He made it clear that what he felt was an infatuation. He is clear on that. This is the point where the creatives give that clarity to the audience that indeed it wasn’t love. And hence I say that is how they had it on paper. And this is precisely why they didn’t give time to their story. Had they given it time there was a possibility of it getting evolved into love. Here it was just some unspoken words, a rush of multiple emotions and a sense of loss of a possibility. Nothing more. They were not given time to explore it. If you see till here everything would make sense and was in sync with storytelling.
But as the story progressed P’s obsession and Virat’s constant leeway and equation with P was questioned. Because there wasn’t much to back it.
So when they started LB they wanted to rectify that error. They didn’t want to give justification to P and V’s actions which they did foresee if they intended to take it Ghum way. (And I feel LB is another means to cover up and prove the accusations on them wrong) That is the reason they have given that kind of importance and coverage to P and V past. P’s emotions, actions, disappointment and anger will feel more justified and normal.
Or they could have shown Pakhi's character/nature better. Like how she gets fixated on things. How she cannot take rejection or disappointment. etc. They have shown her to be pampered but a little more insight into her obsession would have justfied her actions now.
She was definitely hasty and hotheaded and ofcourse delusional. the way she blocked his contact, jumped into conclusions without giving thought or time...can be seen again and again. Her decision to marry sammy, her loud outburst on wedding night, etc etc show her impulsiveness, hastiness and lack of thought/introspection. Ofcourse utter disregards of surroundings, be it people or the society.
Thats why I say she has symptoms of being sociopath.

Yes true, but the biggest mistake he did was tell her that he loved her before the Sangeet .
Maybe that time he was also not sure till he met Sai maybe.
They always wanted to show it as an attraction. The concept was love at first sight is merely an attraction, which virat cleared multiple times but pakhi is obsessed.
Remember virat's dialogues in cafe - 'hum mile, aakarshan (attraction) hua, par sai aur maine Zindagi jee hai'. They wanted to develop sairat's relationship more and tbh if they had developed v and p's relationship more, than v falling for Sai and not feeling anything for pakhi, would've looked a little odd.

That's what people do when they get attracted and get those intense feelings. They say that they love them and mistake their attraction for love. I can't live without you, and stuff like that but we realise that it was nothing but just a timely obsession as the time passes.

That makes it even more imperative that Virat has to apologize Pakhi for his vaada. I wrote here in this forum why he has to confront the vaada with Pakhi and apologize to her.
