Haha yeah golf scene mein hi establish kar diya ki Viraj draws the line at not doing business with human traffickers. See aise scenes can land flat agar log dialogue-baazi mein overboard chale jaayein.....but for that scene, I liked how GM played it....more than the dialogues, his expressions did the job in conveying his opinions on what his business ethics are and what he finds contemptible. He goaded that guy into singing that lame Washing powder trehan jingle and then so casually killed him....lol even the tone in which he said, "maar diya" managed to convey the cold side of his character effectively.
Another good scene was that party wala with how he interacts with the guests, makes announcements etc. They are able to convey that whole aura of him being a powerful man without being obnoxious about it. Like if this was a Gul show, his entourage would way more in the face😆
As for the girls....woh fiancee basically wants him as a powerful acquisition in her life....Queen banna hai usko that is why she dismisses his other side flings. But he doesn't seem to give a shit either way - neither for the flings, nor for the wannabe Queen....contempt is common in his eyes for both....lol and as we know, if there is one thing GM is good at doing, it's showing contempt🤣
Kavya ka Dad has become some informer for the cops to help expose Viraj ka crime empire toh isliye phasegi Kavya....lol

Finished Epi 1 and Indeed it is like much much better int he flow than what it was looking like by the previews and skimming and i actually enjoyed it..
+ 1 to the bolds as i was prepping mental notes in my head while watching these were the things standing out to me.. All in All It was GM show Thru and thru and BOY the man just ROCKED.. Teh way Viraj has this demeanor this aura but Still he is playing it very Casually. Like it came all so naturally.. as one sees Viraj being Introduced to us the coldness the Kinda being there but not being there Bits.. all handled so well by Gm and his aura.. I liked the party scene too caz of the same reasons and also how they managed to show the grandeur yet not making it OTT. One can see how dangerous he can be but has the ability to read people to handle this whole thing laga iss poori empire ka maalik who has established it Very well and is smart.. What i did appreciate is They let it being established on it's own with the actions the nuances rather than wohi bhshan on the greatness of viraj and why he is the King of this.. woh scene jahan he takes over his MOm and sab line main khade hote hain family they did a pretty Good job.. ke sabke apne motives hain hidden that it is not as perfect as it looks in the frame.. the undercurrents have been pretty good.. Oh i loved the Bit where went maar dia .. as baba wouldn't like it either.. i wish they had casted a beter actress for mom but still i liked that Absolute abhorrence he has for her.. the way he came and went unki baat yaad hai but finished it woh viraj ka trauma and hurt and contempt once again GM showed so much so aaram se.. and kinda took me in... oh i also liked his Waise bhi red carpet chahiye tha iska bit too... lol iska bhi Gif banao re.. Baaki kavya ke saath intro yes a bit too much in the face as she tells him her professional hazard😆 but again i liked the way he went under the breath about his chalo kisi ke toh hain.. and was liek toh tod doon affair.. my fav has been apart from all this is also the look he gave his mom when she started making announcement.. Sach amin he looked and acted so well.. throughout esp the party scenario every bit was pretty good so yeah .. satisfied to report ke Gm the actor came through
oh i love how he puts that fiancé of his in place lmao at his agli baar weight yaad rakhna inka.. She is sooo ehh with her main rani yeah like who cares youa re so irrelevant anyway.. but yeh bhi hota hai inn families main.. GM basically Won at showing contempt and disdain once again that pretty much set the pretty basis and now i am intrigued to see more for sure.. But ughh I am Blown by GM ka aura and hero presence once again.. BHAI kya solid ACTOR hai.. this has been a full on ONE MAN SHOW so far.. and not hat is not my bias speaking..
special mention of the way he looked at his dirty hands while reciting the shayrai man his awaaz ka waja EK dum on point even if i personally did not like the shayari that much felt it was too much in the face with main rakshas bit not profound as they probably wanted to make it juvenile level of shayari thi but GM ka voice and command on how to recite shayari and then him looking at his dirty hands cleaning up it beign as just part of job while he may not like it but have to do what to do wala thing ke safaai saaaf karni hai caz that is it for him asool wala businessman.. papa ko bhi bura lagta bit all came together.. also is it me or I felt the whole washing powder trehaan bit he made on spot to shush that loser caz he was talking about how mail saaf karna is the kaam toh he went yeah indeed caz am the washing powder thing.. i hope that is it and not his permanent jingle..lol.. Overall Pretty Impressed but mostly by GM.. ke in such average everything and script too how he adds so much more layers and depth where none probably exists on paper given how generic their plot and stupid story is..
so far donal is breezy and fresh despite her acting levels we know but in this epi her character worked to add that lighter factor.. aage dekhte hain..
Epi 2 done too and this one also is a Viraj show on just how Smooth he is and how he executed the whole Getting kavya to fall into his trap under the context of her coming on her own to get help from his as she had such good impression of him and was mapping out his qualities or what she noticed in such a small meeting to her Boyfriend that he is classy intimidating but caring she felt assured that ehr papa is in safe hands 😆caz he called him family.. lol then Viraj Finds out ke Blackbook is missing and Boy I loved him warning to his chacha ke you very well know you are only alive caz you happen to be family warna gaye warna ap zinda na hote.. woh same ke family ke liye phir bhi exceptions hain viraj ki book main despite them being maha loserws.. the bit where he bumps his hands on the table.😆 He got into solid control mode and kya mast plan karke trap kia iss vinod ko by putting yeh khurana murder on him but usse bhi zyada i liked his mast plan to make sure kavya sees it at the airport by halting her there and then she ofcourse came straight to him since she trusted.. woh sprinklers ke khulne ke saath her walking into his empire on her own and then him giving her vishwaaas ke help kar dega so chalu man.. it was so cool to see how Viraj plays kavya idk how GM does it even in his shrewd plans and all he is just adding this very subtle soft touch.. like he is being mean to her but the way he makes her believe ke he is on her side at first and then slams Her After with jab apta chalega toh bata dega kaise paoon tale zameen keech li when she was anyways confused with the ladies thinking she is one of his girls too.. just the switch from this wamrth worth trusting wala viraj outside who was so soft and was like totally dependable to this cold who are you wala rude shock toh tha kavya ke liye but again bhai i am toh takn away by his ability to add choti choti bits nuances . the wya he just walks away after.. lol bahaar toh bada usko family feel kara raha tha ke special guest hai and all .. i thought they did the whole him locking the door behind bit nicely to show she herself has walked into the cage.. without even knowing and her shayari was good in recitation too and worked pretty well with her Running to him for help.. and taking his hand.. going exactly by the plan.. but i do feel kinda bad ke jahan both leads can actually say shayari the way it should be recited wahan shayaris itself are pretty In the face.. i would want them to be slighlty more subtle but khair

but man there are so many bits in Gm ka acting that are worth taking caps and dissecting and talked in detail about..

Yaar inke tadi waale scenes bhi kitne bang on hote the.....ek alag type ka irreverence tha😆. I mean in hindsight Shivaay's dialogues feel even more comedy...."I will buy you and then I will destroy you"😆....meanwhile Anika just rolling her eyes at him constantly 😆. Aajkal yeh sab reverse kar diya hai in shows and more tokenism bana diya hai FLs ke stands ko bhi. Fully fleshed out personalities nahin lagti.

LOL I feel temporary hi tha woh jingle basically made up to mock that guy😆. His character doesn't seem like the type who will want that as his permanent identity 🤣. He just does twisted shit and plays mind games to outwit the people around him😆
I finished Epi 2 as well and yes, it continues more in that vein only how Viraj puts the pieces in place to frame Vinod in that murder charge and basically use any means necessary to hunt him down for the black book.
What's refreshing so far is to see GM getting to play a character with brains again😆. Viraj is actually very shrewd and you can see the wheels turning in his mind as each opportunity presents itself - like in the case of Kavya. When he saw that he has her trust so easily, he used to it to draw her into the house to trap her. He let her believe the polite/helpful image and then flipped on her coldly the moment he had her trapped.
They have established the fear his character generates in the people around him without being overt about it.
Adi bechara toh kitna straight-forward tha mostly....lol his circumstances were twisted but woh khud toh ek saccha, simple aadmi tha and people berated him for that. Chalo, now GM gets to be on the other side of things as the puppetmaster. Isi baat ki akkad thi loser Udhaarwaale fangirls ko like anyone can't play a ruthless businessman character😆. Even then, GM is playing it in a non-pretentious way and the menace comes through without needing slow motion constantly unlike a certain someone😆

This epi was about settling Kavya into her hostage zone more officially.....lol first she tried to run away toh Viraj used her father's forged voice message to stall her but she ultimately figured out it's a forgery toh Viraj impress ho gaya ki ladki mein dimaag hai😆.
He's giving her bits and pieces of info slowly to either stall her or gauge her as a personality. But there is nothing straightforward about anything he does....it's always a mix....he is tricking her with some things but in other ways, he's being himself also.....last half of the epi was dedicated to their bournvita date😆.....Kavya opened up to him about her childhood and then saw him playing around with some street kids toh phir se pighal gayi and started trusting him again😆
Baaki Viraj ki family ka dysfunctional drama continues....deffo looks like his mom had an affair with her devar....breakfast table pe zyada hi ghulam ban raha tha uska. Waise otherwise I like how they are showing the undercurrents in the family, especially Viraj's distaste for his mom.
This epi was also the debut of Viraj ke shirtless horse-riding scenes😆....I'm guessing it's not going to be the last of these and every other epi mein ya toh horse pe ya pool mein hoga😆
The shaayaris they narrate are good....reflective/philosophical in nature and connected to the themes of the epi or the shifts in the characters....nicely narrated by GM especially.

Viraj ka narcissism is more about Trehaan being a Trahaan keeping up the name than apni hi bahdaai karna yeah he does take pleasure in being able to have that remote control but saara din bahith ke apni tareefein anhi akrta rehta and believes in action more than Just faltu ke Gyaan.. *cough*.

oh woh mom and chacha ke vibes are surely more of a couple then devar bhabhi and that seems to be running problem int he family with his Brother trying to flirt with his fiance too.. guess dekh ke rang pakkada hai... but boy that dinning table scene got so awkward with his wife being there too and them talkign liek a couple..,. But ahh i enjoy Viraj ka disdain for his mom.. kya seedha karta hai usse and i am sorry baad main toh ise bechari hi prove kar deinge and viraj mU her i am pretty sure but the way yeh maa behaves iske liye perfect ahi viraj ka Contempt.. same i liek the family dynamics too it is not too mcuh in yo face and samjhne ke liye hai.. i do feel maa and chacha ka haath hoga in whatever MU viraj has about his father's deatha dn them.. lmao iss epi amin i was laughign at kavya being all haq se viraj viraj and then being a hostage.. thank God she has a brain too and she figured out quickly ke audio is fake.. lmao yeah abhi toh shirtless scenes ka start hi hai.. i liked the ghodewala mast tha ek dum hero GM. & bahah yeah the property is nice but meri hassi nikal jaati hai waanabee white house ka dupe castle/dome dekh ke.. but it is a nice location that has everything from stables to pools aaram se sab akro use.. and itna bada garden.. teh date scene was sweet.i enjoyed it.. viraj ka softer side bhi dekhne ko mila toh it is good to see ke balance kar rahe hain ke menace hain toh kahin dil bhi ahi insaniyat bhi.. the shayaris i feel are getting better with each epi .. this one had better one then last 2 and yes as i said GM ka narration makes them Likeable caz awaaj main wajan jo hai..
i am growing an interest in yeh chacha and maa track besides the viraj tarck.. this one has potential even thoguh maa bohat thakeli hai.. chacha is a better actor .. still sab main sabse worst abhi tak fiance hi hai..followed by woh chachi

+1....I think it's again about GM's ability to humanize the greys of any character he plays. I would still say that Viraj doesn't come across as a narcissist to me....a narcissist revels in attention - I didn't get that sense from Viraj so far. He is all business about most things. There are very few things that actually seem to bring him joy.....even the horse-riding he seemed to be doing with focus rather than something for fun😆.....and when that Jaggi praised him over how well he rode the horse, he dismissed it and instead focused on finding woh black book and Kavya ka father (I keep forgetting this guy's name cuz it starts with V too😆)
Viraj ka main issue isn't pursuit of power....I think he just comes across as someone very cynical....cynical about the world as well as relationships. I didn't get the sense that he revels in the power of Trehans....it seems more about protecting a family legacy cuz "Baba kehte the"😆.....his family is the one enjoying the money and power of Trehans more than he himself....usko bas kaam se matlab hai and keeping people in line around him. I didn't get the sense that he revels in controlling people....but yes, he is shrewd and calculative about many things.
Maybe this is a trait GM likes to add to all his characters....professionalism 😆. Chaahe woh Adi ka professionalism ho as the idealism fueled journalist ya woh Viraj ka professionalism ho as Hawala King😆.....kaam toh kaam hai dono ke liye and USOOL hain either way😆.....just the definition of those principles is different in the respective fields.
