The character of zaroon in the novel was toxic. He slapped kashaf too in that. But in show it was toned down very much for the audience.

I think zaroon was clear to Asmara about her hanging with friends. I remember him even telling her that he didn't like his wife out at night with males even if they were her friends.

Somewhere i feel zaroon has seen liberal woman that's what it is termed in ZGH and he needs a strong woman, not like his mother or Asmara. I can't say conservation because kashaf had her own set of values and she was also liberal.

Zaroon's mother worked if i Remember correctly. His problem with his mother was time issues.

His sister and asmara didn't worked yes, that's true. Basically I felt It was over all lifestyle.
