The writers should just bring back AKT. Imlie might be done with her past but Aryan isn't. The writers can use AKT to demonstrate to Aryan once and for all that Aryan is Imlie's true love and not second choice. He just came into her life later than AKT but he is and always will be Imlie's only choice. That would be much better than AKT hanging about in Gudiya. Let him come back and the track can end with him taking his kid away.

Exactly. And this especially true for TRP aunties. They don't get the childhood trauma that has shaped Imlie's life and where her need to save everyone come from. They will only see that she is, yet again, choosing her ex's child over her own baby and her husband's agony. They won't like that and trp will go down. But for some reason, the writers can't seem to understand this simple truth that is so obvious to the rest of us. Given what just happened to Cheeku and by extension to Aryan, Imlie bringing up Gudiya now is plain offensive.

as a modern women, if I find this connection to gudiya offensiv and makes me question her commitment to her marriage to aryan, then how about the aunties of my mom's generation. to be bluntly honest, they will see it as cheating in spirit -- where she wants some connection to her ex. gudiya is not an orphan and has tons of natural relatives whether it is the triapthy clan or aditya over in australia. so why should she raise her ex's child unless she wants some connection with him? -- that would be the natural question. no amount of childhood trauma can wipe out that question and the answer it raises.

Seriously though, the writers need to deal with AKT's shadow since they, themselves reintroduced him. Now he will be hanging about, casting a pall over Arylie till the end. If they can bring back Malini, why not AKT? Even a few weeks will do. Surely, they have enough money for a couple of weeks! It's not as if Imlie's Shahrukh was playing AKT. 🤣

Exactly! Yet the writers refuse to see that! "Apan gudiya" Yuck! Gudiya has a host of relatives who are actually fighting for her! If Imlie really cared for the child's wellbeing, she would contact them to get Aditya to exert his rights as a father and take that kid back. Your husband, who is completely ruined just let it slip what is hurting him the most! If you love him, how can you hurt him even more now? If Imlie really loves Aryan, she would let Gudiya go now.

But these writers won't get it. Ever. They have this utterly wrong idea that Imlie saving Gudiya is making her noble when she only looks like she is secretly in love with AKT and using Gudiya to maintain a connection with him. We know that's not true but that's how it's coming across. What will it take for the writers to get that?

and we end up with the question that beats at the heart of this drama for the 300 episodes -- "who is your husband?" 🙄
