I am getting what you saying...

But in Urdu most of the names are given by adding A or h at the end of a name. In that case the meaning remains but the gender is disclosed through name.

Ex. Adil - Adila - meaning is the one who makes right judgement.

On second thoughts, Marvel or Disney doesn't need to get Indians attention because they already have a big fanbase here. Endgame was the fifth highest grossing film and made more money than any Bollywood film barring Dangal in India.

The idea of marvel trying to get India's attention with a Pakistani superhero is a bit far fetched knowing the tension between the two countries. They could've used an Indian superhero instead if they wanted but they won't because it's won't be much beneficial.

Ironic that marvel would've likely put an Indian superhero on big screen if Indians weren't such big fans of the MCU.😆

Disney and Marvel never said they wanted Indians' attention. It is IFians who are saying so. Even an illiterate person won't think that having a Pakistani superhero would get support from Indians. 😆 They just wanted more 'brown' representation, that's it.

The age right now is correct but he was really young when they rebooted the Spiderman franchise with Tom Holland.

I agree 😆, in fact the Indian origin living in USA are liking the representation with Ms. Marvel. In USA people who are from sub continent are in the same desi club, they do not distinguish who is from which origin country. This is like in any country you go.

Actually its not many Muslims names have female names derived from male names. I will give you an example, Nafisa is a female name derived from male name Nafees.

True...but they would also only do representation if it gives them profit.

How? Tom Holland was casted as Spider-Man in 2015 when Matt Lintz would be 14. Peter is 14-15 in Civil War. It would've been an age appropriate casting.

I suppose marvel preferred Holland because he was above 18 and there are restrictions when working with child actors.

Nafisa is a common name. I don't think I've ever seen, read or heard about anyone named Kamaal-a.

I don't think so though, Indian and Pak lobbies exist abroad as well. But second or third-gen Indians may like Ms Marvel since they're more 'brown Americans' than anything else.
