Now that i've had a lot of time to process arylie's death scene, I want to share something. You know I actively avoid any shows/movies where the main character dies because my heart was never strong enough to witness. I still cry watching Kal ho na ho, i never watched the last scene of devdas, i was depressed for days after McDreamy's death in GA ,there's many more. The worst one was Sushant's death in Dil bechara because he is actually gone forever πŸ’” but idk how i gathered the courage to watch arylie's death scene even though i had promised myself to never watch it and pretend arylie lived happily ever after. but i still did and it was such a poetically heartbreaking scene man.

Aryan was finally at peace n those last moments because he has his everything with him. Imlie was initially crying but she also felt safer with him, even dying with him in his arms is better to her than living without him. They both died holding each other's hand and with a smile. Also, Aryan's smile eminded me of SRK’s death scene in kal ho na ho where he was still trying to be cheerful at the hospital when everyone else was crying

ps: sumbul's first and last episode as imlie where she ended both with the same dialogue. This girl effortlessly nailed her first ever FL role for 579 episodes, that too at only age 18 πŸ‘

Hahah good, this is really a great thing that you have this coming up literally on the day of sad ending in the show. unlike our mishbir hearts which didnt even get our favorites so much as pose together on the last day πŸ’” we just had to lean on eo to mend our broken hearts :(

Khair. she looks cute with that pout.😊

Same. I hate sad ending movies or stories with passion. Like, bhai I watch tv or movies for entertainment. I dont want additional sadness in my life with that now.

@Sushant - that pain is still there, ppl still waiting for closure. hope his soul has found peace though.

@arylie - aww, brave of you sumya πŸ‘ watching my fav characters die is worst nightmare and I avoid watching/reading that like plague. Because then I will be sad for DAYS, that too over ppl who dont even exist.

anyhow. yeah they portrayed beautifully, I watched few scenes on hulu. πŸ‘πŸΌAlso, the story seemed illogical to me (not actors), like they literally invited their death by letting malini go free in previous episode and I was like 'aa bail mujhe maar kyun kar rahe ho?'

I find so many loopholes in Imlie as a show from the start and hope no one makes such stupid tracks hereafter.

hmm mishbir or rather RheSha ke toh baat hi mat karo. atleast with AdiZa we got a lot of gift segments post wrap up but rhesha acted like complete strangers. as if they were just colleagues who were just there for work purposes 😭 i still can't believe i got fooled by their posts during the show and dumb enough to ship them 😲

@poster: ikr? i loved how they timed the poster release date with the saddest episode of imlie. it eased a lot of the pain i felt after the episode

@bold: same, it also makes me feel stupid that i'm crying over fictional people

yep the circumstances causing their death was extremely stupid, i was so pissed at imlie's mahanta by letting malini go after doing her parda faash. in fact, the story line lacked logic post arylie's marriage track, especially the pregnancy track and then the 5 year leap. i only watched the show for arylie and tried my best to ignore all the stupidity. even in the last episode, i only watched arylie's scenes and skipped all malini scenes

@RheSha - rightly said. It was clear as a daylight that they were strictly co-stars who were not even formal-friends even for namesake. Anyhow, we loved their craft and even loved them as actors, so no need to feel stupid for our genuine feelingsπŸ‘πŸΌ

True, it indeed is the best thing that could have happened after such a sad end in the show. Like they provided malham(antiseptic) for the zakhm(wound)😳

Exactly, the plotlines made no sense. It was like they were just told highlights ki 'Imlie miscarries', or 'Imlie-aryan separate for 5 years', or 'Imlie Aryan die' "malini has to kill them' and the rest part was just put together to reach that end goal

Wanted to share my new short story idea here with you (IDK if you are in a mood but I always share my stories with you first so keeping up the tradition)

So title is 'A night on a highway' and summary is: Starts during beginning phase of the show, when Arnav knew Khushi was engaged to some shyam, he didnt know it was his jiju and Khushi knew shyam was bad but didnt know he was Anjali's husband. Arnav and Khushi are in his SUV and accidentally hit Shyam by their car and he is dead. They try to dump his body along the highway, but get caught. Then turns out he was poisoned even before they hit him, and even has injuries on his head. A bottle of rat poison is found in Payal's cupboard and a gun is found with Anjali. And then starts the quest 'who killed Shyam Jha?'

What do you think?πŸ€”

you know there was so much drama going on offscreen which i didn't understand but now it all makes sense. now i can see the full picture: exactly how and when the departure of each of these creatives affected the show.

bascially after arylie's marriage track, the original creator of Aryan: Atif left imlie for gul's new webseries. since then they started butchering aryan's character bit by bit, still it was somewhat expectable because he didn't doubt imlie's fidelity during the pregnancy track. but then muskan, the creative director, and another director also quit the show. after that we got the dreaded 5 year leap and it's spiralled so badly since then. All these people quit due to creative differences with the PH and finally Sumbul and Fahmaan quit too because none of them could bear their beloved characters and show get spoiled so badly

they were all probably tired of pushing against the PH who never cared about this show in the first place, they were give step motherly treatment despite being in the top 5 for 2 years. when they couldn't take it anymore, they all quit

first of all, the bolded part made me jump with joy (cant believe i still hate shyam with so much passion)

okay wow, it sounds like an exciting thriller, i have never read anything like that based on arshi! the concept seems intriguing and i'm already eager to know who actually killed shyam. my guess is that it's neither anjali, nor payal, probably someone else!

@bold and underline: awww thank you so much for sharing it with me first and also thinking about my mood πŸ€—
