1Hi,

First of all, welcome to the forum! I am glad that you managed to create a topic even if you are having difficulty replying.
As a Newbie, you will have to overcome some special technical challenges, which won't be in your way after you reach 50+ posts. Your posts will be screened more aggressively for spam words. (My very first post got flagged as advertising just because I used the word "investments" in a fictional situation.) And you can't include any links or HTML in your posts.
If you click the Reply button, it will tag the member to whom you are replying (see, I have tagged you below), and you won't be able to post unless you click the cross to remove the member's name from the Tag Users box.
If you click the Quote button, it will put HTML in your reply and send a notification to the member whom you are quoting (even if s/he isn't tagged). Even if you delete the HTML, you may be prevented from posting. Instead, copy and paste the text that you want to quote.
You can scroll down to the Quick Reply field and type/paste your reply there.
By the way, most topics are created as Normal Topic to enable the best features, not Q/A like this one.
When you reply in a forum topic, even if it is a fan fiction, your reply always appears on the last page of the topic, in chronological order, even if you are commenting on an early chapter.
In addition to this Fan Fiction forum, there is the Fan Fiction section, which you can find by clicking the Fan Fiction button in the top banner, between Forum and Quiz. There, we have books rather than topics, and comments are organized chapter-by-chapter. You can scroll to the bottom of a chapter and either comment on it or reply to an existing comment thread.
Please let me know if anything is unclear, or you are still having any difficulties.
