I always liked the female leads more than the male leads in all the shows where i got obsessed with the leads. I always preferred nandini over manik and defended her when people in kyy forum starts the blame game of which lead is better. Same with shravan and Suman from edkv. Always preferred Suman over shravan. The main reason was nandini and Suman had a clear character sketch. There was consistency. Nandini is a soft spoken cute little petite girl but even then nobody would date to talk shit about manik Malhotra in front of nandini. She is someone that bared the bullying at college till her breaking point. She had that amount of patience but she was never meek or submissive. She just knew how to handle situations with patience and she clearly knew the only way to handle someone like manik is with patience. There was this one track where manik says he don't love nandini when he found out his bestfriend loved her. But the guy was so in love with her that he couldn't pretend not to love her for too long and nandini was smart enough to observe that and she played smart and manipulated him to tell the truth. Then she gave him a punch and left his sorry ass. That is a smart and strong female lead.

Here i just cannot understand ushna. We don't know what exactly she was doing when she roamed around with sufi creepy and we as audience are not very convinced when she says she loves shehroze because none of her actions says so. The girl don't even care that her husband was being bashed by her useless relatives🤔 she just sat there and listened to all that.

I never even ones saw a FL that claims to love the ML sitting idle when someone says anything bad about the ML.

Even Preethi from Kabir Singh faught with her parents for a guy like Kabir singh and she looked like a girl that don't have a tongue half of the time.
