Ritu’s husband was a successful businessman or an industrialist, wasn’t he? Yea at that level of wealth higher education is a must, even a bragging point. Besides, if they choose to pass down the business to their kids, and they almost always do, that kid needs to have some solid educational background.
I suppose by the same logic industry kids who want to be actors/actresses don’t really need an education. But they should get one anyway for all the reasons you mentioned before. It broadens your mind, opens your world, and gives some eloquence. All of these can only help you become better performers.
agree but
I think you need it even in films, maybe which is why maybe kapoor studios collapsed, none of them had a vision or work ethic to run and maybe that is why kjo for all his faults revived dharma
same in south, rama naidu (rana's grand dad built a huge business), suresh ( rana's dad, very well educated) has kept it going and he is massively well informed, similar nagarjuna kept his dad's film studios and expanded it immensely, they have a broader view which definetly education and exposure contributes too
of course, some may do without education if very passionate
