First four episodes were good but this week episodes were ott for me.

First that slap which was not needed at all. Secondly all this father fiasco was bit ott. Ek bar meerub Abbu Waqas aur unki wife sy mil leti toh kya hojata. Just to portray that meerub is all alone, now murtasim may help her or then maybe they will start having soft spot for each other.

Jahan itny saal guzar diye, wahan ek last meeting karney sy kya hojata. Sorry porey starplus ky serial ki vibe ayi.

Only the chemistry between the leads saving the grace otherwise everything else is overdramatic.

But , no - it's like they kept a separate scene for it 🥴 i was like wtf ..... At least you have so much guns in your house - direct it at murtasim and warn him for god's sake ,like

" Himmat kaise hui tumhari meri beti ko haat lagane ki"

That could have been a scene with great impact , writers !!!!! Wtf with that lukewarm warning that he delivered and murtasim got away in that scene so easily , as if he had every right to slap her !!!!!🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

And more than them , I am disappointed in meerab ! Wtf girl 🤷🤷 just show him your cluthes . Like when in the last scene he came to sit with her in the garden - she should have got up and say

" Mere aas pas aane ki tum jurrat mat karna " should have got up , trying to walk away and murtasim needed to apolosise then and there . 🥴🥴🥴🥴🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🥴

It wasn't a general statement , in most of the dramas the choice of the girl isn't given any importance and the family pressurize the boy or the girl , for khandani ravayat , izzat, status, love marriage and all that. It's not a pleasant watch for me

There r plenty of dramas I saw in which there wasn't forced marriage , like zgh, ishq jalebi, suno chanda, khani , habs, ishq e la, even deewangi etc ..

I still don't understand this logic of keeping her away from her parents. It was a forced scene without any sense. They can still meet her nd tell her that they love her but she can't stay with them anymore... not that them shutting her completely will make her accept anwar as father. She still gonna hate him. may be even more for all the things she is suffering. How it gonna help her accept the family as hers?

The last 2 episodes looked so forced. Keeping all the cliche and toxic stuffs aside i still don't get why actors of yumna and wahaj's caliber chose this drama. It's not even well written. A cliche problematic story can still be well written like Kabir Singh. Keeping all the toxicity aside that was a well made movie with great acting and amazing songs. Here there is no reason for her adoptive parents to be this cruel to her or the haveli people trying to distant her from her adoptive family. We can simply assume that meerab hates murtasim because of his mindset but the drama never really established it. Except for all the push and pull scenes, good acting and chemistry from the leads there is literally nothing this drama can offer. There is not basic for any of the storyline. They just simply throw in random scenes without making any sense and to cover it up throws intense scenes b/w the leads.

I think the door not opening scene was more for waqai to control himself??? I guess he wouldn’t be able to keep his zuban or let Meera’s go if he actually sees her now?

I agree first four episodes were fab and really put expectations high and this week was thanda but things can still go high next week ... let’s see what mutism past is about

This week was not up to the expectations 😑😑.

And please makers , don't make the mistake of getting the Male lead being manipulated so easily by the VAMP , when the said male lead is shown to be powerful and larger than life 🤷🤷🤷🤷

Nothing is a bigger turn off for me , more than that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coz it shows the power of the VAMP over the male lead ....and seriously I don't like these things one bit .....

Coming to the episodes , writing was all over the place . Instead of revealing the parentage so soon , they should have taken their time 🙄🙄🙄🙄 you know .... Meerab should have returned to Karachi with her parents , with the push and pull stretching some more between the leads 👍👍👍

Like , meerab trying to continue her studies . While murtasim ( now aware of the truth of her being his cousin ) opposing her in every step , while still not letting her know the truth ( in order to protect her feelings )

In this process , the love would blossom and then the marriage ....

I know the teasers say otherwise . But , it's just my take how the story should have been .....for an intense enemies to lover .

Best example - ail sitam aur .........♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I just loved the enemies to lovers trope there 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Marriage track is coming. I think teaser 6 scenes will happen and teaser 5 scenes are there for the indication of why she agreed to the marriage. Because in teaser 6 Murtasim was happy in the marriage. He had no idea about the condition. May be she will say No to the marriage and when he asks her about it she will put a condition that if he agrees to the condition then only she will agree to marry him.

I observed Meerab wearing nose ring in teasers and OST. I think she will start wearing it after marriage.
