How I wish Meerub gives him one tight slap as a return gift. But it's a Pak drama, the position of the 'shohar' thing is above everything. But they aren't married yet, nothing wrong to kick his butt. I hope he doesn't get away with this slap.

Yesterday's episode again was solid. Loved Meerab and Murtasim's interactions in the hospital and on terrace. I loved how Meerab said that she was measuring the height not for herself but for him πŸ˜†

Their scenes and characters are well written so far. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode!

Now coming to the next episode's teaser! So, they have a confrontation yet again, she says some mean stuff to him and pushes him hard and he ends up slapping her as a reaction to the push and instantly regrets it. Even if that was a reaction of the push, it CAN'T BE JUSTIFIED !

How I wish for it to be Haya's dream or to get it chopped off from the main epi but I don't think makers are going to edit it because I feel this incident will be used to move the story ahead

Meerab will start HATING Murtasim, we see her burning his pic, we have seen her taunting him in the teasers, 'Jaisi maa Vaisa beta' when his mother slaps her.

Even if Murtasim goes down on his knees for Meerab, still the slap incident will remain which is a bummer.

I read Wahaj's interview yesterday and as per him Murtasim has massive ego and is not necessarily toxic and he doesn't need redemption ! How i wish there was a way for me to ask me as to what his definition of toxic is and what does he think about this slap scene, does he think this was more of an action - reaction ? Or was it necessary to move the story forward? What exactly was the reason for Yumna and Wahaj to agree for this scene. Will Murtasim pay a hefty price for this ? Will this change the dynamics and move the story ? Why was this necessary ?

Also I heard that writer wrote a Telefilm called Rohposh in which hero pulls heroine's hair ! I am completely against normalizing and romanticizing violence tbh. I hope here in TB there is a LEGIT reason for this scene!!!! I really want Meerab to torture the hell out of Murtasim and make him go down on his knees at some point in the story !!! Oh the sadistic pleasure I will get πŸ˜†

And yeah I am a Wahaj fan since a long time and I know the difference between reel and real. I hope people aren't going to defend Murtasim for this slap.

Anyway, keeping the slap scene aside for a second, the show is extremely engaging and hooky for now. Yumna and Wahaj are doing a great job and their pair is working sooooo well. Let's see how it goes.

Slapping Meerab is an insult to her and slapping her in front of Haya is an addition to the insult.

Why is there even a need for a slap? Murtasim saying something mean is more than enough for meerab to hate him for eternity.

Thappad mara tho mara why make it romantic afterwards with her falling in his arms and him touching her cheeks . are they showing slapping is fine as long as he cares for her when she faints πŸ€ͺ.

The way he ran to the car and the way he was looking at her when she was making him tea, it's obvious he has a thing for her. Deep down he clearly don't mind getting married to her. That's why he isn't resisting as much as meerab. It's so simply for him to get all the elders together and announcing he don't want to marry meerab. He would have done that if it was haya. 🀣

There was no need for a slap scene. If they wanted to show a faint scene and Murtu caressing her, it could have been any other way. Even an attempt to slap could have been an option but a slap 😑😑The girl has already gone through an accident then she got to know about her parents.........She is already in so much distress. A heated confrontation without being physical would have the scene better.

The slap was insulting. Why did he his raise his hand? They always talk about family traditions and respect. Then why did he raise his hand on a girl? His honour does not allow him to marry her but his honour allows him to slap Meerab.

And by looking at the teasers I don't think he will think it as a big deal.

Yeah, remember I said that in one of the teasers, Merab was telling Murtassim that she won't hear anything wrong about her character. So I think Bewafai line fits that scene

I know right!! They are perfect together

Befai wala misunderstandings nahi chahiye. I knew this show was going to be toxic but don't want it to take this route.

But Wajju and Yummna ko chemistry itni amazing hai......I won't be able to stop watching this.

Yes, my guess was right. Slap scene is gonna air in next episode after a heated argument between meerab and murtasim. There would be more to the scene ,like they'd have fought and argued a lot maybe that's why he slaped her but still its not done, he shouldn't have slaped herπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

the obvious aside, I really wanna see Haya's face when she sees Murtasim caressing Merab's face πŸ˜†

But on a serious note, the slap was really uncalled for but not unexpected cuz we did see it some teasers and ost (I think). But I hope they either remove it from the episode (which I doubt since it would invalidate Merab fainting) or have him regret the hell out of it in future.

This couple is really starting to remind me of ArHi and Shivika πŸ€ͺ

Yeah!! I mean, he slapped her so hard that the girl fainted. Then the romantic bg music is so insulting.

I don't understand why Wahaj and Yumna didn't say anything regarding this scene. They should have refused to do this particular scene. They are established actors, I am sure they could have given some input. A lot of new fans are not going to watch the show because of this.
