I feel Teri Bin is the new Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi and Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha is the new Mere Humsafar.

Finally watched both episodes. The first one felt a little slow, maybe because they were still setting things up but the second has a lot of things happening.
So Meerab is clearly Anwar's daugher but the question is why did they hand her over to Waqas Ahmed and Aneela in the first place if the Khans wanted to be so involved in her life?
Murtasim and Meerab are both bull headed for no reason at times β works to their advantage in some situations and goes against them in others. But the tashan between them is the perfect ingredient for a masala show like this one. It is going to be one guilty pleasure!
Haya, though, is quite creepy, sneaking into Murtasim's room anytime and messing with his things. But I loved the poolside exchange between Haya and Meerab β the stark contrast between their thoughts portrayed in less than a minute.
The expression on her face when Ma Begum gifts the khaandani kadas to Meerab. She's going to be one super interfering thirdwheel in their relationship. Won't be surprised if she turns psychotic at some point in desperation. So long as she doesn't end up eating all the screenspace in the show like Amber from MeY, should be fine! That character was pure torture. Everyone had screenspace there except the leads.
The only thing that caught my eye in the promo for epi three is the chai scene between MeerAsim. Murtasim obviously is affected by Meerab at some level for him to be okay to be served chai by Meerab vs his reaction to being served water by Haya in the first epi. π Now that was a cute parallel. π
CoffeeCake β I really thought a Female OST would have been so much fun after this one. π€
Rashi23 β The bouquet throwing scene will be in the upcoming episode when Murtasim approaches Meerab after the announcement for the first time. The backdrop is from the family party and it's a bouquet that she picks up from the table arrangement, not given by Murtasim.
Twerps & Rishu β Can't wait to hear your thoughts when y'all get started.
Cappa β Saw you lurking around here. You watching?
I liked the first 2 episodes..
This show is much better than mpht.
Surprisingly yumna was convincing enuf but wahaj wasn't, for me..when he said "usko mujhse kaun bachayeha" , I was like jao bhai tumhare gusse mei wo baat hai hi naiπ
He isn't the usual toxic hero..meerab will def fall for him . I'm all in for the angsty love story ..hope they don't lose track midway , like all other shows.n towards the end of it , they don't give morality lectures ke they started on a wrong note , the girl was forced , so they shouldn't get a happy ending ..
One thing I never like is the portrayal of women in all paki dramas..why they have to degrade women like this and have minimum one character who is obsessed over a guy who isn't interested ? She still keeps day dreaming and goes on to create problems between the couple.. What's the point ?
Only because the hero is an angry young man and I can see his obssessive side in future. The hype and that it is trending from ep one, reminded me of that of KTK.

Oh ok. Im actually thinking he is nothing like Shamsher and for that i am grateful. I mean, tbh , I enjoyed Shamsher in the beginning for what he was but the show lost me early on and seeing how they went the last 10 episodes I'm glad i didn't waste time on it.
I agree with Anila (Meerab's mom)when she says Murtasim is the most sensible in that lot coz I agree. He is a product of his upbringing and his arrogance stems from that but I'm so pathetically grateful there is no love at first sight obsession here...π
Also, in general, does anyone else think that Aneela and Waqar are to blame for the messes meerab gets into? She is obviously from that family, why the heck would you raise her to be so different from them? Did you forget where she would go back to? Or where she really belonged? Now Meerab is a misfit there and she is acting out and it's basically their fault.
Haha, I was waiting for a show to be my guilty pleasure and here comes Tere Binπ₯³π
One of the most refreshing aspects of the show is that ladka-ladki already know of each other. I am bored of falling in love at first sight crapπ₯± They seem to be in perpetual disagreement with each other. And IDK why, Murtassim already seems to be affected by Meerub
The rest of the characters are quite cliche like the vampy cousin and the dil jalaane wali regressive saasπ€£ But theek hai, chalta hai. The show reminds me strongly of Dillagi for some reason.
Acting wise Wahaj looks the part and was splendid, especially in the first scene where he helps his land tenant to confront the oppressor. But IDK i prefer him in roles that are softer. It is a travesty that Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha isn't working for me π
Yumna is doing well but of late I have come to find her dialogue delivery repetitive.
Best part is there is actually good chemistry between Meerub/Murtasim and the storyline offers some hope so let's see!

I couldn't even enjoy it initially .. I found the story repeatitive.. and the heroine boring. But still it was the most successfull drama of the season.

Yes. That love at 1st sight is irritating. Also when a drama starts with the leads already in love with eachother .π΅

They don't have children of their own. So the showered their love on her , and treated her well.. she lives in a city, friends and the whole atmosphere is different from that of the village. So it ought to happen. It is also her father's fault to let her leave her home .
Yea, but honestly , plenty of people who live in cities and grow up there are still very connected to their rural roots here. Plenty of girls are modern and liberal and study abroad even but when it comes to "gaoon" time, they dress and behave accordingly. They may not like it, they dont end up marrying cousins but they dont behave like spoilt petulant children. Meerab can still be modern and dislike the system without being an unreasaonable shrew about it..lol
But then where would the tension be, so i guess dramatization it is...*shrug*

I agree. But this is Meerub , not any other girl .. she has the blue blood of Shahnawaz' khandan in her roots. π

I think it has a lot to do with her conditioning..she has seen her father fight for justice , so naturally she is like that..for the same reason she wants to become a lawyer ..she feels strongly abt it ..
