Even the one scene that made an impact for me in devdas, the last with paro running is a full copy of bimal Roy’s devdas, exact scene

Actually the story line is inspired or copied from a Tamil movie (not sure if it is also copied from some other movie )

The editing was awful, the storytelling boring.

It lacked peps. Had SLB gone for a more classic style of storytelling,it might have worked.
