Written update:
The episode starts with Riteshās friend hurrying him up to change for the next shot. Ritesh sees his crowd of fans waving at him when he obliges by waving at them and indulges them by removing his shirt and pouring water on his face.
Indu is seen walking away, when she hears the dialogues of the scene being shot. Ritesh is mouthing dialogues as to how can you leave the kid alone. The kid has no one in this world. Ma is everything , etc, etc.. he then says that you need the kid as much as the kid needs you. You will regret and be in guilt for leaving the kid. And the shot is cut.
Indu upon hearing these words hurries to the kid when she bumps into ritesh ( finally they come face to faceš) Ritesh and indu have an eyelock and indu mouths a thank you to ritesh and walks away.
Some guy on the spot comes and asks ritesh as to who the girl is , and he says no idea. Toh he asks, y did she thank you and he says he doesnt know but she is definitely some one special and single piece. The man then says that the girlās earring is stuck on his shirt. Ritesh removes it and when he looks at it, he smilingly remembers her as the girl he met in the rain.
Indu goes and picks the kid up when her father comes in and she conveys that she cannot leave the child alone. The bus driver comes and hands over a letter to indu saying that he found this on the seat of the pregnant lady. Indu reads the letter aloud where in kadambari wouldve thanked indu for all the help and apologises to her for leaving the kid with her. She says that indu can drop the kid at some orphanage or temple and move on. Kadambari goes on to say that The kid is a reminder of her past and that she wants to move on without any remnants of her past. Indu is angry as to how kadambari can do such a thing. And resolves to take the kid home.
Upon reaching home, induās mother is shocked and unhappy with all that has happened. Induās father tells indu to take the child inside. Induās mother then questions him as to how he could let indu bring the child home. Indu is just being emotional. The child will get a future with indu but induās future will be finished forever . Who will marry her, etc,etc. and tells her husband to convince indu to drop the kid at some orphanage.
Inside induās room, the child starts crying and indu calms her down and then feeds her milk. Anju, induās sister, notices that induās earring is missing and asks her about the same. Indu searches around for it, and upon not finding it , laments that it was her favorite earring and she must have dropped it in the bus probably.
On the other side, ritesh is sitting in his vanity and looking at the earring. ( Ritesh looks like a hopeless romantic) (male title lyrics plays)
Ritesh and his friend are playing jenga at his home and his friend loses. Ritesh is elated upon winning and his friend huffs angrily and walks away. Ritesh then moves towards the window and looking at the stars and moon in the clear sky. His friend comes back and notices him looking away and comments that its a clear sky and ritesh completes saying that the brightest star out there is my father. He comes to visit me often and we have a chat about home, work, his heroines, etc . His friend is seen thinking that such a big superstar but he has never seen anyone be as lonely as ritesh.
Parallely, induās mother is standing outside the door where indu is taking care of the child. And feels that indu is extremely lonely..
Precap: indu takes the child to hospital with deepak, her friend. Doc asks child name and she says dunno. And then upon being asked mom name, says indu raina. Ritesh is looking for earring wali ladki.
Someone touches indu from behind and when indu turns, is shocked and says tum!
