Agree with you. They should have brought in the earring angle only after the leap. The other parts like his words influencing Indu and his helping baby zoon and saving zoon where all good, just should have avoided the attraction for the mystery earring girl coz he didn't seem like someone who would avoid pursuing his interest in a girl.
May be the accident happened after that and his priorities changed. That could work, don't you think?

I am finding the execution for ritesh indu a little awkward.
Wished there wasn't a leap.
They should have started the show with five year old zoon . Viewers will keep guessing who she is. Is she indu's daughter. Then show mother daughter scenes. Later on slowly bring story in flashbacks. Like indu's childhood friend came for a visit and sees zoon then asks her. Who is that girl. U never told me u got married blah blah. Then indu takes her for coffee treat somewhere and narattes her story. So from the bus sequence all shown in fbs. Except ritesh part. His entry was not there earlier. It was only indu zoon story.
So ritesh comes in a litter later into their life

Just after few episodes taking a leap like that sounds awkward to me. Coz hero heroin was about to meet and suddenly a full stop. I feel that way. Now they have to becareful with the flow and execution to ensure the story they build revolving the duo is kept intact for future connectivity.
I thought his mom was paralysed even before the leap. Because he used to ask Rahul to show her his posters and all. So I thought he avoided her because of his guilt for causing the accident.

Yes, the way you presented the story would have worked well which also had the added spice of curiosity and mystery of InZo relationship.
Actually seeing the promos, I didn't expect Ri to be a connected to Zoon's infancy. I wonder if they will connect the incidents of the pre leap time with the post leap one, other than indu being grateful to Ri for being the inspiration to be Zo's mom. The connections are there coz of Indu's lover being Ri's friend's husband. Still connecting her as the earring girl will be too much if you ask me (but yeah I remember the taiwanese drama where the ML had the hair clip of a little girl whom he was impressed about, with him even after he grew up!! I think he gives the clip to the grown up her when things are resolved. Then there is Rourke ❤️who carries around the button that fell of Eve's coat during their first meet)
I guess the pre leap times was kind of a prologue. I wouldn't have minded jumping right into the story with the glimpses of the past given in flash backs which would have been intriguing.
Finally, I caught up with all the episodes. Indu's family and the bonding are so sweet. Her bond with mauj and Bob ji is endearing. Ritesh and Rahul's bond is also super cute. Love their banter. Wonder what is Ritesh's past in relation to his mother's vegetative state and why he blames himself for her state. RiDu's hit and miss I am really liking Sayli as Indu. KVG, we have all known, is a brilliant actor and this naughty, mischievous and smiling persona just fits him too well due to his babyish face but Sayli, I had briefly seen in another show that I didn't really follow but am glad she has gotten a grand chance to showcase her acting prowess and honestly she is doing quite well.
Baby Zoon and Ritesh's bonding is about to begin and Indu is in for a rollercoaster ride due to misunderstandings, it seems. Cliched, but still looking forward to it. Indu's best friend (can't remember his name) is an angel in disguise currently in Indu's life although why do I fear that he might turn evil later.
p.s. Did I miss something in regards to Zoon's leg problems? IT's still not known what happened, right? Except that it was an accident when Zoon was 3. Her leg braces reminded me of an old Anil Kapoor movie, I think where he is a single parent because his rich wife's father doesn't want them in his daughter's life. The son also has such braces but eventually overcomes that due to the father's dedication and care and his own willpower.

They are overdoing zoon’s ritesh obsession. The writers should come slow on that and develop ritesh and zoon more organically. Also first meet itself, she asked papa dhoondoge. The writers need to go little easy..
The child actor has good chemistry with kvg and they are adorably cute when they interact with child like stuff.
Ritesh will save zoon ❤️
