Who says we have forgiven Ushna? When she talks like Shehroz did then she will get it too. Shehroz says things when there is no need and when Ushna becomes misandrist we will talk about that too.

Why are we comparing mother son, mother daughter relationship to husband wife relationships? They are two very different relationships. Mother -son-daughter is different love compared to husband and wife relationship. Shehroz can forgive his mother we don’t have to. Ushna can forgive Shehroz too we don’t have to, and Shehroz Ushna can forgive Naima even if she does wrong, we don’t have to. That way we can forgive Romeo too but we won’t.

They are end game but doesn’t mean I have to like it. Ushna maybe has gone through a lot so maybe she can be emphatised with whereas Shehroz has not faced any of that. In his mind he was neglected and maybe he was but other than that he had a great life and he still ended up being a brat.

Also this line,” What we are ignoring here is ushna is also fully capable of being disrespectful if she gets manipulated by zainab the same way shehroze is being manipulated” like you said in your last post we can’t comment on what has not happened as yet. Otherwise why can’t we believe that Shehroz will go even lower than he has or why wouldn’t he would have asked zunaisha to leave her job?

I think everyone can say what they want and there shouldn’t be any expectations that other should agree too. If they do great and if they don’t great. Those who love Shehroz can keep loving him and those who don’t keep not loving him.

We can have the opinion but we cannot say ushna should also have the same opinion as we do. Yes we won't tolerate shehroze's arrogant behaviour but we cannot expect ushna not to tolerate it either. It will be perfectly in her character if she ends up forgiving shehroze in the end.

If i was a mother and ushna said all those things she said to zainab, i would never be able to forget those words. Zainab did.

I guess you are the one that told the story of your mother's friend continuing a relationship even after knowing her husband made another woman pregnant.

It's more than obvious that if you or me was in her position we would have kicked him out of our lives asap. But she didn't. Because her opinion on all that is different from ours. She chose a comfortable life over her self respect. And if i am not wrong this happened for real in a country that don't have a cultural norm to carry on with a marriage no matter what.

Shehroze and ushna are in love with each other and is married in a society that gives utter most importance to marriage. So both husband and wife tend to forget and forgive things that might be a big deal for a 3rd person.

If a woman in real life can carry on with a marriage with no love after everything her husband did then why cannot a drama have a happy ending for a guy that does love the girl? So nothing is really unrealistic in ASA according to the cultural norm.

will agree and disagree with you -- so as humans, we judge. that is just in our DNA even when we are politically correct or following etiquette. 🤣

at the same time, I agree with spnfan in that on certain matters, there is no guidelines that we can all agree on. it can be cultural, generational or just one priorities -- but we will have differences. so it doesn't mean that someone is wrong but it is just a different view based on what works for their life.

so I was watching a BBC news video about how there is a shift in that some people are choosing to be childless (very uncommon in this part of the world but a rather new phenemenon). one guy's reasoning -- "his friends had all become boring after becoming parents" -- 😂. I found that odd. maybe there are people who will agree with that thinking but this guy didn't even come across as interesting in any way. so what standards was he using to define boredom? 🤣so yea, on some matters, it is not so important that we all think in the same way.

Ushna accepted her mistake only after she was shown the mirror by Naima and zainab ended up in the hospital. She didn't realise it by herself by self analysing. She was planning on leaving the house and staying in a hostel until she heard about zainab being hospitalised.

We don't dwell deep into it because all this happened in one or two episodes whereas shehroze's mistakes are taking more episodes.

kekeke... for me, this is standard. when I watch tv dramas with my family, they are always making comments and I am having different views. so it becomes part of our conversations. so I am used to discussing such stupid dramas at depth because they are like dissection into society and human behaviour.

this so called brainy/arty dramas and movies --- we have nothing to say! 🤣

And that’s why I said Ushna can do it I don’t have to. I don’t have to like it at all. Yes my mum’s friend chose what was right for her and I also said I was disgusted by it.

Just because Ushna does it doesn’t mean it’s right and I can say what I would want her to do doesn’t mean it will happen. I also said for me respect is foremost and that’s my deal breaker so whilst an Ushna or even a fictional Shehroz can do that and more I don’t have to that’s my point.

I don’t have to take it because drama did - otherwise everyone will be loving both Ushna and Shehroz here and even Naima and Romeo too and why not? everyone is getting redemption at the end aren’t they?

These topics gives us the platform to share opinions and opinions are subjective aren’t they?

Bold: I so much agree to this.we all have different experiences and have grown up in different environments..what may be wrong for us ,may be right for others. I agree with Priya on this, what we feel is wrong can be right for Ushna..zunaisha saw Shehroz's obsession with his mother in as an unhealthy obsession while Ushna and Zainab found it cute, the reason was Ushna and Zainab have also blindly loved and trusted their blood relations. Ushna also did not care about anything when Zainab got ill.
