I also think allowing a stalker who literally terrorises the FL is considered romantic, why? How can it be romantic? Why isn’t there an uproar over that rather than a husband kissing his wife? Wouldn’t he do that? Given the females get pregnant almost immediately?

I try very hard to understand cultural context but I can’t understand it at all. Why are those girls not leaving the minute a guy says you are this or that. Any man who decides the fate of his marriage on the say so of his mother doesn’t deserve to be married. We have said multiple times that in real world none of us will want a Hamza or Shehroz given what they come with, but they are romanticised and revered like men being kind is a great thing when that should be given.

I wish we get a story where FL says screw you and walks off. I have yet to watch one.

I have only seen the FL of koi chand rak that did it and also Gul e rana but i didn't like the fl of Gul e rana just because of her victim blaming another woman.

Itv does have a very regressive mindset but when they show the fl to be strong she is shown to be really strong that we feel like rooting for her. That rarely happens in pak drama. I think koi chand rak was worth watching only because the FL not just chose to leave her husband but also chose a guy that loved her over her husband. She is a doctor and financially rich. She had no reason to give another chance to a dumb cheating husband even for the sake of her daughter. I liked that one aspect about that drama. I also liked how the fl chose to leave seperately from her husband in Gul e rana even though he changed. What he did to her at the starting was not worth forgiving even though he changed for the better. It's impossible to forget everything and live with that person.

yup. and he played her brother-in-law who married her stepsister. then he divorced that girl because she kept insulting him. and he then proposed to the FL. what drove me nuts is that the FL didn't even like him but everyone was forcing her to marry her ex-brother-in-law and saying he was a nice guy who loved her. ummm, what???? and then ofcourse, he gets shot or something and she automatically says she loves him now. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I remember during IPKKND days when Arnav married khushi forcefully and then threw her out the house and made her sleep on the floor there was a huge outcry about DV but there were others going but look he is so sad, he is crying and he felt bad afterwards. I wanted to shake them and say that’s classic abuser behaviour, the power and control wheel. Then he would say extremely rude things to her and when she would reply back they would also say she is provoking him 🙄🙄🙄 That was my first time realising that people actually think like this too.

Imagine if this Shamsher guy in KTK was an obese fat ugly man with a big mole on his face will they still call it love? I don’t get such superficial love towards an actor.

Lil Kim said it best that when a guy has 10 girls he is a stud but when a woman had 10 she is a whore and that’s the sad society we live in where onus is always on the females.

I am not surprised after my experience with the dizi. apparently whatever a guy does is fine if the actor is good looking -- some fans refuse to look at the story and the characters. and because of such idiots, they will show it as glorified toxic love story instead of the girl taking a stand and kicking him out of her life in the end. basically the underhanded message of such dramas seem to be that it is a sin for a girl to be born beautiful. 🙄🙄

Gul e rana and Koi Chand Rakh Leads were absolutely crass🤢

Gul e rana, lead kidnapped her, forcefully married her, cheated on her, almost slapped her, about to rape his friend. He did not have any redemption. I am glad, Gul e rana chose to leave him

Same With KCR one, he cheated on two women and suddenly he changes . I was very happy with both the endings..

Even in ASA, if Ushna chose to be independent ,i would side her anytime 😆

I have seen few episode clips of that show on YouTube while waiting for dunk episodes to be uploaded on the channel.

I think she genuinely thought of him as a brother and he always had a thing for her. Then she suddenly falls in love with him just to end the show on time 👏

Yashma gill played the annoying step sister.

Really? I haven’t watched it’s end but I will check it out. That’s great if she did.

yea, I was face palming through the end. I was really annoyed. why do they not respect a woman who says she only saw him as a brother or friend? UGH. 🙄🙄🙄

you wont believe in my last fandom. Male lead was toxic and tortured heroine. He later on turns a soft guy like Shehroz running after the heroine. Many fans said that he is no more strong as after becoming soft he lost his swag and charm, as he was running behind the girl now, his character has become weak . 🤢
