Exactly! There is so much nuance in Tabu’s acting. Imagine Aishwarya doing that. It would like another “are you like checking me out chudail”

Nope. Aish doesn’t have a annoying Hindi accent re baba. Let’s ignore her English one for now 😳

I feel like Tabu was not the right choice for BB's role. Tabu is the worst & least graceful dancer in Bollywood and did not suited the role of dancing sisters Anju/Manjulika. She looked hideous dancing in Aami Je Tomar and didn't had the sass to pull off the villainous Manjulika.

Someone who's a good dancer & have played negative role before should've done it, like Urmila. She already played a ghost in Bhoot & several negative roles so convincingly. She would've nailed it.

Aishwarya would've been great too but she's too big of a star to play supporting role. So I think Urmila would've been the right choice.

i just watched the movie yesterday. Tabu was the right choice. I’m not sure why people are so focused on the dancing which was only for a few minutes. I was engrossed in the story and the dancing didn’t bother me. It was only one song! The climax with Tabu was awesome. I love the whole part from where Karthik starts dancing until the end.

Urmiila would have also been a good choice for the role but not Aiswarya.

Tabu was absolutely the best choice! I don’t know what you’re smoking. She made the film.

Have you seen Aami Je Tomar horribly butchered by Tabu's pathetic dancing? I'm surprised how she was even offered the movie about dancing sisters?! Most likely her good connections/good agent got her the role or else Tabu being the worst dancer in Bollywood was not apt for the role of dancing sisters, which is a key part of the movie's backstory.

I could care less about dancing in comedy movies

That is why Tabu was not convincing or apt for BB's role. Due to her poor dancing, Kartik had to do the climax Aami Je Tomar dance! If Urmila had done the role, she would've been able to do that climax dance. But due to Tabu the viewers weren't able to see another great rendition of the iconic Aami Je Tomar.

Tabu is not versatile and just overhyped on IF.

They certainly would’ve nailed the dance portion. Although that was like 30 seconds only

Leme rephrase it

Aishwarya would've been great too but she's too limited an actor to play one of the most integral roles taking the story forward

I cannot believe it..Aish seriously..? tabu's toenail can act better than her entire existance..

Both Urmila & Aish would've nailed the sass of Manjulika & innocence of Anjulika. The curly haired look of Manju & sophisticated saree look of Anju would've been perfect for Aish & Urmila.

IMO, Tabu lacked the sass & grace. She was never a graceful actor or dancer anyway. She's better suited for the serious roles in parallel cinema. Tabu isn't versatile.

Dancing is literally the smallest part of the movie, hardly a few min...if Aish had done the role ppl would've only remembered that because she would've ruined every other scene. After the movie everyone was talking about Tabu only, she was the parallel lead in my opinion.

SPOILER ALERT:

Especially the scene after the reveal that Monjulika was the sister that survived, Tabu's acting was just fantastic.

Aish would've turned it into a comedy scene.😂
