Don’t think the writing is that strong. Ushna’s character has too many traits that are filled by us as viewers rather than us learning about it through her actions. Shehroz is well written to an extent and has a positive growth. The banter between the two is decent and their equation with each other, their scenes are well written with both the actors doing their best with each other. I think both are similar caliber in terms of experience and acting styles which is why we see also improvement in the scenes since day one but other than that I would say the teasers for the show were more enticing then how the plot had shaped for the most part.

The show is also airing at a prime soap slot on ary which has a higher outreach compared to Aplus or ptv imo.
i think mostly it’s luck and the two getting a decent script. The two would do well in a ramdan special romcom for sure

are these dramas bound scripts or is it like in kdramas where the scriptwriter is writing as the drama is airing. if it is on-air writing, then actors sometimes get cheated. they are told of an outline which might sound interesting on paper but then when it comes to execution and actual episode, it is a total borefest. but then they are already committed to project and just have to wade through regardless of whether it makes sense..

Mostly actors get full script. Stories are written before drama's making. But exceptions are there like ehd e wafa, ishq e laa etc. Where writer wrote story will shooting was going on
