Vinayak needs to know it's his fear that made all obedient. Not their love for him. Aaj maai ne Ghar chhod k boht bada step uthaya. She realised she can do some things of her own mind.

I don't think it's the fear that makes them obedient. It's genuinely their love for him, and you automatically fear upsetting or angering you elders. I mean don't we have that fear with our parents but that doesn't mean that we listen to them out of fear.
Besides, they are afraid of DK's anger sure, but not enough that it stops the gang from dancing all through the wedding, or doing any of their parties or pranks without his permission. Nor does it stop the ladies from asking him for something and being stubborn, like with the whole Paithani saree thing where they said they wouldn't get it unless he lets Mai get one too.
Forcing Shashank though is a possibility. And it's very human thing to try to protect yourself from getting hurt with the same mistake. Doesn't make it right and I absolutely hate that thought process but still a very real human quirk.

I doubt Mai would leave with Appu...she would probably get upset with everyone and stop talking to them, esp DK.
I think there are chances that Sua Aai can try to stop Appu but it will probably depend on how angry DK gets...like someone said, she might just decide that it's better for Appu to be away for a bit until everyone gather their emotions.
I agree with you Jolly, that once DK's anger really starts, Shashank won't be able to say much himself, but he will say something or other in just one line that is going to upset Appu enough.
I'm still not going to believe it until I see a pic of Appu at Vartak house...I don't want to get disappointed this time! 😆 Stage is all set for her to leave, but there are so many ways that she can still be stopped! Who knows maybe Avantika comes there, right when she is leaving and this time she stops Appu?

It's in the first few minutes...right after DK finds out about the prank and declares that he was going to change his decision but now he won't. Appu tries to say something twice I think but Shashank stops her both times.

I think there's too much fear with vinayak, ishqi.
It wasn't so in Khorkuto, the atmosphere was quite chilled there also.
Even in case of material things, the ladies have to do so much drama. Going to the parlour, asking for something like just a saree is too much.

I think with the language barrier we do miss a lot of things and meaning….we can’t understand this in depth as you do ….for example i didnt know there was a part where he talks about bowing down or have no clue ke something like that happened…for me its all goody goody going on…and they were just happy they got married
