Episode 607: Friday review: really long - lots happened - writers had lots packed in this episode - Sorry NO Maan love scene - only good conversation about money/business between them.
Anupama is making halwa, kamal the household help (runs the kitchen and home) is there working as well. Anu is talking to her online class students while cooking, and says, we're back to in-person classes, so please come to the academy from now on.
BB walks in fuming seeing all the kitchen untidy and plastic/steel vessels all laid out - she yells at Kamal and Anu jumps in saying it's not his fault but she likes the kitchen like this, she knows there's lot of space but likes to see everything out and that rasoi and she are friends from long time ago! Before BB can say anything, the rest of the clan join in and both brothers want to eat hulwa while GK butts in and says he'll have it first too, to which Anu says yes of course after Kanhaji you're the first one to get it and BB and GK have an eye roll/stare - something is fishy - some old wounds.
Anu mentions that Kamal Bhai- the help, to which BB says Kamal, Anuj jumps in to clarify that Anu believes in treating the staff like family.
Anu again refers to him saying please take care of the rest of the job and she'll take care of breakfast and bhog, to which BB says that they have staff why does Anu have to do anything. Anu responds, that she likes doing it.
At shah house: Samar/Toshu/Pakhi arguing about staying at Anu/Anuj's home conversation from yesterday -
Samar accuses her that she goes where she sees money, Toshu advises her against acting so shallow and they both tell her that she is Vanraj's jaan and anything she says is hurtful, she maybe right sometimes, but not all the time. They walk out.
Pakhi's phone pings and shows Adhik started following her! She says, come what may she's determined to go to that house.
Pakhi is looking at the newspaper and sees Mr.Shah, she stubs her toe and he rushes to her rescue, she apologizes and he agrees to her going to see her mother. Pakhi shows photos of all of them on page 3 of the newspaper! V sees it and is fuming at AB/BB's photo and thinks that Anu never come between the kids, but now 'Shah's aukat' - his lower middle-class status will definitely come in the way of the kids -
Pakhi puts her phone to charge, walks to kitchen, wallpaper is adhik/pakhi, she gets notification and at the same time Vanraj walks in but the screen goes blank, he takes the charger and walks away!
Anupama Sadan/Kapadiya house: There is fun banter and everyone is eating halwa except BB/adhik and she kicks AB in the foot, who stops eating and asks the big question: Now that they have wrapped up the US business, is it possible to join Anuj's business? Anuj gives a quick glance and agrees - and then turn around and says, 'Oh but first, we need to ask the owner of this enterprise, Mohtarmaji, can my brother join the business' GK kaka is starring and BB is fuming again at the mention of Anu as the owner. Scene ends
Anu is preparing lunch boxes and writes a note to Anuj - saying she's very mad at him, writes another note and labels lunch for Ankush.
AB is excitedly talking to Anuj saying, on the way to the office, please tell me who/what/where of office, while BB says, this is India you'll have to be 'Akadu' boss, to which GK responds, that in this office staff will even give their life of Anuj, coz he takes everyone together and goes ahead, if nothing else, just learn to keep everyone together. He again has an eye-roll/stare with BB.
Anuj says, don't worry GK kaka is there, he'll tell AB everything, to this an annoyed Adhik remarks sarcastically that Anuj has a 'kamal' ki advisory team, GK kaka, Anu aunty! To which Anuj does not flinch but says absolutely the best and now the cherry on top, AB joining the business.
Anuj walks up to Anu, he has packed lunch for her and she for him they have a conversation about Anu refocusing on her restaurant project, that Devika has given an ultimatum to make sure she meets the deadline else she'll kidnap her:) They both joke around
AB joining the business, says in the past it didn't work out between his dad and AB's dad and it didn't work out between mukku/him, to which she says, Mr. Shah was the reason, countering that he says, there was no vanraj between his dad and uncle! He going on to talk that money is the source of all ill will and he is really hesitant in including AB in the business, although he says he/AB's nature are not conniving but still he is hesitant.
On the other side, AB is ready in suit and BB gives him his lucky watch, reminding him that their family's future depends on this one chance. AB says, not to worry, Anuj and he will take kapadia empire to new heights and praises Anu as well. BB reminds how her own flesh/blood threw her/Adhik to the streets, so she says please go as a brother but remember the goal is to get a partnership on paper
Anu gives yogurt/sugar as they start a new job and AB is taken aback by her sweet gesture, remembering old times, and thanks to her for bringing back all those memories to him. Both brothers leave.
Anu is about to leave as well, Sara praises her for being a homemaker and teaching dance, Bb/Adhik chimes in saying wow you teach dance, to which she replies, she owns the place - Anupama Dance academy! She also goes to the office with Anuj, and they are currently working on a restaurant project, and ends the conversation by saying she just wishes the works goes on and they keep being prosperous!
BB/Adhik's jaws just drop knowing all this new information.

My POV: RS gave some ultimatum to the writers in light of all the social media backlash and this weekend they've tightened up the story - looking forward to next week.

They’re definitely rebuilding parts of the plot before things get too wild .. I think the only thing that would truly irk me is if they rely on the Shahs to be the pain in Anu/MaAn’a butt. It’s good that they’ve added a new point of contention being Bharka and Adhik BUT they just need to make sure they don’t make it predictable. I like that we learned Bharka’s need for financial security, much like Kavya, stems from personal insecurity. They’re humanizing the selfishness so it isn’t boring or trite. I also feel, like Kavya, Bharka’s snarkiness is a manifestation of that inner instability.
Anyway, I’m still hoping V trolls Bharka 😅

I enjoy that the siblings, overall, have come to some sort of understanding and functionality. It was getting too predictable that one of them would obviously err to create drama
back to my original thought - I think the show needs to go forward without repeat and rinsing the Shahs. I like that they’re slowly on the way to becoming their own separate parallel track.
Also, before I say more than I have in months 🤣🤣🤣, if Bharka is so jelly of the money … maybe she should work, too 🤭🤡 can’t covet another’s belongings/good fortune when you haven’t tried to succeed yourself
Initially i liked the new characters because i thought now they will spare us from shahs drama but no...then writers made the whole khichdi of the situation and not only shahs but now we have to bear the negative kapadias also. And to add to that writers couldn't give shahs parallel track they had to somehow made them cross path that too in a most cringe way of upcoming pakhi-adhik romance or sara-samar romance. Kyu bhai.... family se bahar niklo...aur bhi log hain duniya mein dating ke liye.
And negative kapadias are just shadow self of negative shahs.
Kavya = barkha = financial insecurities, upper class arrogance, keep insulting others, jobless themselves.
Bapuji= ankush= silent spectators, know their wife is wrong but wont speak up against her.
Samar=saara= sensitive bachhas of family, always team anupama.
Pakhi/toshu= adhik= bratty kids, badtameez to the core, opportunist, gold diggers
Dolly and family= GK= sensible log but jab tak extreme situations na ho tab tak nahi bolte.
Anupama= shahs ki naukar = Anuj= anupama and shahs and ab kapadias ka naukar.
Matlab kahi koi new idea hai hi nahi.

Yaar yahi main bolti hoon ki har koi anupama jaisa nahi ho sakta to dikhao different people but jo anuapama nahi wo villain hai ye imply karte hue to mat dikhao logo ko.
BB could have been a bit high class mentality arrogant woman jisko anupama ki middle class aadat padand nahi lekin jaisa dikha rahe hai, BB ko bilkul villain bana diya hai.
Aisa dikhana chahiye tha ki thoda BB apna ravaiyaa badle aur thoda Anupama bhi usse high class aadat seekhe, dress up hona seekhe lekin nahi...anupama bas bhashan degi aur sabko apne jaisa bana degi...aur jo uski ungliyo pe na nache wo villain.
