Love at the summer camp Part 1

I dedicate this story to monnashakir20 who wanted me to write a story where the college friends Sirav meet at a summer camp after many years and yet they recognize each other.

Aarav took a little girl named Pihu to a summer camp.

Aarav:Finally like you wished,we are in the summer camp.

Pihu:Yes..thank you.

She hugged Aarav.He smiled.

Aarav:Let us meet your teacher.

Aarav went to meet the teacher with Pihu.

Aarav:Excuse me Ma'am.

The teacher turned back.Both were stunned to see each other.

Flash back....

A college....

Prom night party....

Aarav's cousin Vivaan who is his college mate also asked him:Aarav,who will be our prom night partner?

Aarav:No idea.

The anchor announced:We will be providing a shawl to every guy.They should close their eyes and throw the shawl at the girls.The girl who catches your shawl will be your dance partner.

Vivaan:Cool!

Aarav smiled.

Aarav got a blue shawl.He closed his eyes and threw the shawl.

The shawl fell on a girl.Her face was covered by the shawl.Aarav went near that girl and removed the shawl from her face.Her beautiful face was revealed to him.He was lost in her beauty.She smiled at him.She was Simar.

Aarav:You have been chosen as my prom night partner.

Simar:You have been chosen as mine too.

They smiled.

Aarav:Still I am asking your consent to dance with you.Will you dance with me?

Simar:In this situation,you will be only boy who asked the girl for the consent to dance.You are really a gentle man every girl looks forward to.So I am impressed.I want to dance with you.

He smiled happily.

Aarav and Simar started dancing romantically.

She smiled.

He became shy thinking of his imagination.

He thought:How could I be so shameless?

Suddenly Simar felt weak.

And she fainted.Aarav held her and bent down.She was unconscious on his lap.

All were shocked.

The principal:Take her to the medical room now itself.

Simar was taken to the medical room and the doctor said that it's because of fasting that Simar fainted.Simar regained consciousness.

Aarav:Why did you fast?

Simar:I fast every friday as my Nani told me that I will get a good husband if I fast.

Aarav:Even though you are a new generation girl,you are superstitious.Very funny.

Simar showed him a puppy face.

Simar:I have full faith in what I do.One day I will get the man I desire.

Aarav smiled.

Aarav said in his mind:I also pray for that Simar.

After the party,both Simar and Aarav longed to meet each other.But since both were from different departments they could not meet easily.But once in college,the college authorities decided to celebrate the wedding anniversary of the eldest couple professors(Prof.Gajendra and Prof.Sandhya).So all the students gathered together.There Aarav and Simar saw each other.They became very happy to see each other.They walked towards each other.

Aarav:Hi Simar!

Simar:Hi Aarav!

They shook their hands.

Simar:Nice to meet you again Aarav.

Aarav:Me too.But it will be our last meeting.

Simar was shocked.

Simar:Why?

Aarav:Because like my family wishes,my cousin Aarav and I are going abroad to do college.

Simar was shattered.But she hid her pain.

Simar:All the best for your future Aarav.

Aarav replied giving her a painful smile:Thank you Simar.

Simar lit the candles in the cake.

Gajendra and Sandhya blew the candles together and cut the cake.Then they fed the cake to each other.Everyone clapped hands happily.Gajendra-Sandhya shared a romantic eye lock while Aarav and Simar looked at each other painfully.

After the party,Aarav bid good-bye to Simar painfully:Bye Simar!

Simar was very sad.

Simar:Bye Aarav!

They parted their ways painfully. 

Present....

After 10 years..Aarav and Simar met at the summer camp.

Simar:Aarav!

Aarav:Simar!

Simar:After many years also you recognized me.

Aarav:You also recognized me.

Simar:I could not forget you.

Aarav:We have met and talked to each other only twice.Still we both remember each other.

Simar:Yes.Maybe because in 2 meetings a lovely friendship had formed between us.

Aarav smiled:Yes.

Simar looked at Pihu.

Simar:Hi..what's your name beta?

Pihu:I am Pihu.

Simar:Wow!Nice name.

Suddenly Simar stared at Aarav.

Simar:Is Pihu your daughter?

Aarav replied:Yes.

Simar's heart broke into pieces.

Simar thought:I lost Aarav forever.Aarav is already married.

Aarav:Pihu is my daughter,but I am not her father.I am her uncle.She is Vivaan's daughter.His wife Reema is pregnant.So they can't travel.So I accompanied her to the summer camp.I will be staying here with Pihu as I can't stay away from Pihu.

Simar was relieved.Still she was tensed.

Simar thought:It's been 10 years.Aarav would have got married?

Simar:Are you married?

Aarav:No.

Simar was relieved.

Simar:Why did'nt you get married?

Aarav:I did'nt get the girl I like.What about you?

Simar:Even I am single.

Aarav:You fasted for a good husband,Still you did'nt find any good guy?

Simar looked at him deeply and said:I trust my Nani's words completely and I am sure that I will get a good husband one day..the one I like the most.

Aarav smiled.

Aarav thought:Wish I was that guy.

Simar was playing with her kids.

The children sat down.

The children was excited.

Aarav stood near Simar and said:I will also sing with you all.

Simar was surprised.

Summer vacation was going to end.Since the summer camp was going to wrap up,they decided to throw a farewell party.They invited actress Jayaprada for the party.

To the surprise,Vivaan and Reema arrived there.

Aarav hugged Vivaan.Vivaan,Reema and Pihu hugged each other.

Aarav:How come you both are here?

Vivaan:The gynecologist allowed Reema to travel now.

Reema:And how can I miss the chance to meet actress Jayaprada?

They chuckled.

Jayaprada arrived for the party.All were excited.All of them chatted with her.

Simar realized that her back was touching Aarav's.Simar moved away shyly.

Vivaan,Reema,Pihu and Aarav packed bags to return from the summer camp.

Aarav thought:I thought that I lost Simar forever.But God made me meet Simar again.God gave me a second chance to confess my feelings to Simar.If I lose it now,again I will lose Simar.I should confess my love to Simar now itself.

Aarav rushed to meet Simar.

Aarav:Simar!

Simar looked at Aarav emotionally.

Simar thought:Before Aarav went abroad,I could not tell him that I had a huge crush on him.Later I realized that it was not crush,but love.I fast for a good husband.Maybe because of that God made me meet my love Aarav again.Before Aarav goes back,I should tell him about my feelings for him.

Simar:Aarav!

Aarav:Simar,you asked me why I did'nt get married.The truth is that I could'nt marry anyone as I had love at sight with a girl and that girl was you.

Simar was surprised.

Aarav:Before leaving for abroad,I wanted to tell you about my feelings for you.But I did'nt do that thinking that you will not understand my love for you as we just mingled twice.But now as years passed,still my feelings for you have not changed,I hope that you will believe my love for you Simar.

Simar became emotional.

Simar:Do you know why I did not get married yet?Because I also love you.

Aarav could not believe his ears.

Simar:Still I fast in hope of getting you as my husband Aarav.

Aarav became emotional.

Aarav:Your nani is right.You fast for a good husband and your belief is right.That's why God united us.I promise you that I will be the best husband to you.

Simar smiled emotionally.

Aarav:We both love each other,so our faces were fixed in our hearts.That's why despite of having very less interaction between us,we recognized each other even after many years.

Simar nodded with a smile.

Aarav cupped her face in his palms,pecked her forehead and lifted her up in his arms.

They embraced each other shedding the tears of happiness.

Aarav-Simar got married.

The next morning.Aarav was sleeping.Simar looked at him romantically.

Slowly Aarav opened his eyes with a smile.

Aarav held her hand uttering her name:Simar!

He pulled her closer to him and they melted in romance.
