Omg, I didn't even think of it from that angle, it's a sad yet realistic truth of society. I understand why she held back, didn't Shehroz yell at Ushna on the day that Sufiyan was trespassing, he thought she called him there. It was probably much easier to tell him off when she didn't care about him. Things are more complicated now since she likes him now and she knows how much Shehroz cares about Sufiyan hanging around her. But glad she told him anyway, the trust and bond between them are building. ❤️

Sufiyan should have known about his frozen emotions. He cannot convince even a street dog that he is not a murderer with his Oscar worthy acting skill and expressionless face where muscles refuse to move.
Zainab doesn't deserve a benefit of doubt. It's not that Sufiyan has stoopped so low for the first time. Didn't he tell the truth to Ushna in most unusual way? He didn't even think about the possibility what if she responded in extreme way and tried to harm herself. His obsession has no limit. I really don't want to hear that Zainab doesn't care about her only damaad because Ushna is not her real daughter. She has done more than any biological mother could do for a daughter.
Zainab and Naima can keep fighting for their common shohar, at least I don't care. The kind of argument they are getting into, that would involve others as well. If Shehroz and Ushna had to pick up the sides, both believe in blind worshipping their respective mothers.
Sadaf was like - How could you do this with Shehroz? Aapko pata hai Woh Mera kya hai? No body knows Woh tera kya hai? Both brother and sister have habit to get married with anyone inside their head and then openly act like their fictional partner is a cheater.
Sufiyan is so confident that he didn't think he'd get caught. Despite him constantly threatening to disown his parents, deep down, that dirtbag knows they'll do anything to save him. Look at what he's done so far, in the end his parents always relent and bend to his will. Even when he landed in jail or his family was facing bankruptcy, things would get resolved, he's never had to face consequences in his life. It doesn't matter to him if his dad had to go beg Zainab and Wahab. Heck, his dad is laid up in the hospital and he's outside planning Shehroz's murder.
He is so selfish but this is what he's been taught and witnessed his parents doing all his life. Who cares what will happen to Furqan if he doesn't have money for treatment? Who cares what will happen to Zainab in her new home? If she dared to ask for her share, then she deserves to get her life ruined. Same with Ushna, who cares if she wants to get married with Sufiyan or not, if I want her then she has to say yes. If she doesn't, then just pressure Zainab to say yes then Ushna has no say in the matter. And on and on and on. This whole family has no problem ruining lives and stomping on people to get what they want. If someone dares stop them, then they are the enemy and needs to be destroyed.
Sometimes I feel a bit bummed out with this show, I came for the love-hate forced marriage but what I got was a family drama. When the family drama got fun (because the baddies were being punished early on) but it quickly became infuriating because Sufiyan somehow takes centerstage. Everything is about Sufiyan, how he doesn't like daal, how he's sleeping in his car, how he's ~adjusting~ to homelessness, how hurt he is, how he's crying to a mirror, how deadeyed he is etc etc etc. It's like enough already, nobody's here for Sufiyan. 😕
