Waise first few episode me I hadn't really liked Nikhil all that much - the way he took Sumi out with him despite her repeatedly saying no.. Par wo kitna perfect nikla I miss him!!

@bold: Same! granted I saw it in KKIS first but then that was ruined so Ankit character growth wasn't much. but after starting TR, I was hopeful but still cautious..Shappu's wedding sequence just made me love him so much! ❤️❤️

GG didn't understand boundaries yet she had pure intentions. Whatever she did, hiring a nanny, installing AC in her room, making the kid sleep with her every time, was irritating (also cos GG is irritating unlike appu) and shameless.

They did try to control it but ultimately Mishti lost it and got physical. On top of that, they thought GG had psychological issues ( it seemed like that from the bangla dialogues) and called Kaushik to take her home.

Potka alone stood by her and opposed this decision of them sending Gg to her house. Reminded them that BECAUSE OF GG mishti had a safe delivery and got the baby and mother safe.

No one was home when Mishti's water broke and gg called Dr. Sushmita ( kaushik ki colleague) home. Did everything and AGAIN became a heroine.

what beautiful character progression. Hope they show THIS. Gungun/ Appu is truly the heroine the Mukherjees/kanitkars needed. No wonder the 2 versions ki female leads carry the shows on their backs.

She ALWAYS stood by her intentions of caring for the child, even in the worst situations, Gg took a hit to save the child when Mishti got physical.

They behaved quite badly. And soon regretted their mistake after her departure.

Phir wapas redemption and love story. It was much needed cos i hated the Mukherjees back then especially Mishti and Babin.

Yes, I remember GG coming to rescue when Mishti's water broke.. Woh episode dekha tha maine.. That was great!!

But baaki ka mujhe phir bhi galat hi lagta hai despite her good intentions... Best to skip it in this version..

That's sound both horrible for the way it happened and good for the way it ended...hopefully Vasaikar gets rid of the more horrible parts! 🤓

I feel like that whole sequence as show in the OG will lead to an endless discussion of who is more wrong? Appu vs. Family! GAH! Never want to hear that phrase again! 🤢

I like Appu with the family!!! They can yell at her for getting too attached or overstepping but no calling her damaged!

Wohi. Nahi chaiye yeh track. Can't see Appu doing CRINGEY stuff that Gg did.

I like how GV has been selective in following Khorkuto cos Bengali me boht zyada rituals hue shaadi ke pehle ,beech me aur baad me. Almost4-5 episodes kaam kiye shappu aur Bhaskar k wedding tracks k.

My only outrage is against the netra staying at home and Shashank's disgusting behaviour during those 2 weeks wala track.

Chetan k leave ki wajah se appu ne Ghar nahi chhoda show me and loan shark track Aya.

Btw Aaj tanvi ki insta story me Ghar sajaya tha flowers and balloons se and Dny was in that lovely beige accordian dress that i like.

Yeah, family using horrible words for Appu would be painful to watch and Appu keeping a baby away from her mother would infuriate me no end.. So far, aisa kabhi hua nahi show me ki Appu ko bade log kuch samjhaye aur usse samajh na aaye.. The way they make Appu understand and the way even she trusts them is so sweet ❤️ This track would sorta ruin that.. Issiliye na hua toh best hai aur agar hua toh I hope Vasaikar handles it differently..

Yes, it looks like TR has been comparatively much less drama than OG...and that whole Netra isn't forgotten for any of us either.

I think I can speak for Jolly, arshi, harshada and myself at least that we are just choosing to put that on the back burner for the moment and enjoy the current episodes and trust the TR team to bring that up later for a proper resolution in their own way. Until then, he's still BS! 😆

Yes, I saw that...one of my fav outfits of Appu too! Maybe pregnancy news celebrations? Can't be for the festival since the house looked pretty normal in today's episode.

@bold: more than whatever family might say, this would infuriate me the most!!! If I'm angry with Shashank for his stupid Netra antics, then my anger at Appu at that time would be 10x worse.

Anyway, let's worry about it when it comes...still gotta get through so much more before that part anyway! 🤗

I don't know if it's completely swept away since Appu is still making some snide comments here and there but yes it wasn't how we had expected it to be...koi nahin! It's gotta happen at some point for their relationship to progress so just gotta wait! 😆
