I had never celebrated the festival until 2020, thats when I heard those songs for the first time 😆 I just knew people from Bihar, UP, Jharkhand celebrate it 😆
I toh look for new festivals to celebrate and now Chatt is also on my list 😆

Grown up hearing these folk songs back in 90s on occasion of marriage . Very voguish then . Though much later I realized that the setting,singer etc. is Pakistani (make sense though) .
Mathee ty chamkaan Waal, i still remember in childhood went to a shadi and their ladies were singing this song. It's actually good.
