I'm not a regular watcher of this show. I watched the first episode in full and caught glimpses of a few other episodes on occasion but I'm curious about a few things so thought to ask.

How old is Banni? Seems to be almost same age as Yuvaan.

How old is Yuvaan? My understanding is that Yuvaan was 7 years old when he witnessed his mother's traumatic demise and he has mentally stagnated at that age for 15 years. So does this mean he is 22 years old? It seems like he lost his sense a few years after his mother died and Manini came into picture, so he could be anywhere between 24-26 rather than 22.

Yuvraj looks way older than Yuvraan, how old is he supposed to be? Is he really younger than Yuvaan?

Viraj may be 22-23, and was married at 21 to his sweetheart. That's why the girl calls him Jethji.

How old are Malini's two girls? Are they meant to be younger than 14? Is Hemant their father? Why I am asking is because if they are Hemant's and are older than 14 they would supposedly be from an extra-marital affair between Malini and Hemant since 15 years ago Yuvaan's mum was alive and well and married to his dad. Both are in college, so 17-20. Have a strong feeling there was an EMA in the mix too, since Hemant is very indifferent to his first wife's death.

Is Banni really blood related to the aunt and uncle she stays with, if so to which one and how?

They are her mother's brother and sister-in-law; her maternal uncle and aunt. Possible that her mother got pregnant, and her father ran away from his responsibilities, leaving her to have to move in with her maternal family, but they took all her income and then badmouthed her to the world, eventually leading her to commit suicide.

I have other questions too but feel those have not been answered yet and maybe will be in upcoming episodes.

I'm tagging the only person I know from another serial but anyone is free to answer. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to do so. One more thing... was it made definitively clear that Manini's children are definitely Hemant's? Is it possible that just like Yuvaan is Manini's stepchild they are Hemant's stepchildren too, Hemant and his family though treats his stepchildren as if they were genuinely his?(unlike Manini).

That is also a possibility. They have not touched on it yet, since the show is still in the first month or so and that might be part of some future revelations on how Hemant and Manini met and got married too. But they address and treat him like a father too, so cannot really cancel out the possibility that they are his own children either 😊

Interesting twist. Maybe he ran away after finding out Gandi Pari wants his money. Seems like Manini may lead Yuvaan to get drunk and marry Banni.

Since Suta seems to be busy today, some snapshots of today's episode:

• Manini blames Banni for hiding Yuvaan in front of everyone with her crocodile tears. Tells Hemant that Banni is brainwashing Yuvaan.
• Banni calls out the chemical locha in Manini's brain and the hypocrisy of Yuvaan's own family then says that she does not have the time to hide Yuvaan
• Asks Baagadbilla (Viraj) where Yuvaan is, epic scene tha, Viraj jumped
• Hemant is distressed that Yuvaan cannot be found, Banni tells him to ask his mother or fiance where he is
• Dadusa asks what Banni was talking on the phone with Yuvaan last night.
• Flashback: She advises him to get up and get ready early for his engagement and promises she will come to give him his favourite food too. He tells her about playing hide-and-seek with Chanda Mama and asks her where she used to hide during hide-and-seek. She says she used to hide in the water tanker when playing with her mother as a kid.
• Banni realises where Yuvaan could be and instructs Myra accordingly
• Myra and her bhabhi checks the water tanker and Banni and the family check Yuvaan's room and bathroom. They find Yuvaan hiding in the bathtub and having orange juice saying he will finally be able to escape marrying Gandi Pari
• Yuvaan says Banni gave him the idea, she is in an awkward situation. She explains in front of the family she had only told him a childhood incident which he turned into a trick. Manini confronts her over it.
• Dadusa covers Yuvaan up and asks everyone to listen to Yuvaan's opinion. Manini tells him they have already discussed it, and he has agreed to the engagement. Calls Yuvaan and his bank balance khoobsurat (so random!) and tries to make pointed statements to Banni that she may be behind Yuvaan for it, Banni turns the tables around and asks the same to Niyati in front of everyone
• Chakachak Baingan, zara sa cheelo jo keda nikle
• Niyati says her mother had a mental illness and passed away early on in her childhood. She grew up in an orphanage and educated herself. When Manini offered Yuvan's rishta, she wanted to marry and do what she could for him because she could not do anything to save her mother. (What phenomenal acting while lying, this one is dangerous )
• Yuvaan, Banni and the family get emotional and feel bad for her. Yuvaan offers her a tissue for her tears.
• Niyati tells Banni that till she takes care of Yuvaan, Niyati cannot make a place in his life and reminds her she should maintain distance as she is just a friend, while Niyati is her fiance. That hurts Banni a little.

Precap: Manini does the nazar utaarna of Yuvaan and Niyati and gives the money to Banni. Big sis and little sis buas are trying to find the ring in the room and panicking when they cannot find it.
