If hypothetically Ayan takes the basic plot beats and ideas of Meluha and adapts it into a present day superhero set-up, no one can actually sue him and win. You can't copyright ideas.
Amish's work is even more in a gray area. Because almost all of it is mythological characters. Which are fair game. How goes one go about proving Ayan didn't dream up a Shiva descendant hero with a Vishnu descendant coach? Though Ayan can't touch something like Meluha or Nagas, which are Amish's IP.
Of course, this is just me and IAmLuvBolly speculating. Neither of us have obviously read the script.
I hope it is done well.

beacuse they didn't think hindu mythology will sell then,
point is you have be true to the artc, commerce will follow, here it is other way round
I don't think it is Meluha, that has a total mythology feel with shiva and sati, nagas, the look is very different, shiva in tiger skin with long locks, sati a dancer etc
ranbir and alia just dont fit this
hrithik and aishwarya would have been great
brahmastra doesnt look it, of course maybe it is a prequel where they combined reincaration and suddenly ranbir will become shiva in part 2 and alia sati... god knows
on a differnt note, thanks all for 50+ replies on my 2nd thread
this is like bollywood claiming "most talked movie on 2nd day of 1st week of release" 😂
So many turns out of film than in film lol .so it’s mash up mix of hits n trends 😆
Brahmastra will be a very good film, a strong complex story is not required for event films, they work on set pieces, elevations and vfx
I have faith in Rajamouli, he is distributing in south, he has seen the film, he wouldn't invest in it if it was a bad film

He is not distributing it. He’s presenting it. What that means is he’s basically using his name to try and sell the movie. This is what KJo did for Bahubali. This is basically a quid pro quo thing between KJo and Rajmouli.
