One of the ads shows four men discussing who gets the shot on the last remaining bottle of perfume, but showing a woman instead of the bottle. (Credits: Via Twitter)

Richa’s tweet where the Fukrey actor had written, “This ad is not an accident. To make an ad, a brand goes through several layers of decision making. Creatives, script, agency, client, casting… DOES EVERYONE THINK RAPE IS A JOKE? Revelatory! This brand, the agency that made this ad need to be sued for the filth they’re serving.”

Priyanka responded, “Shameful and disgusting. How many levels of clearances did it take for this commercial to be green lit. How many people thought this was ok? I’m so glad that it was called out and now the ministry has taken it down. Appalling!”

Farhan What incredibly tasteless and twisted minds it must take to think up, approve and create these stinking body spray ‘gang rape’ innuendo ads..!! Shameful.

The ad is dumb, but these guys don't really have a leg to stand on. Bollywood uses rape as a plot device and a punch line all the time. Have any of them ever criticized 3 Idiots this aggressively?

Those ads were so disgusting...I can't believe that in 2022 someone will be insensitive enough to create such ads when the rape and women molestation situation in India is at its peak....

Glad that those ads got taken down...

There is nothing debate worthy here...those ads were plain disgusting..🤢

The ad was severely problematic and I’m glad it got called out.

Bollywood stars who choose to speak up against offensive issues from outside should also stand up to one of their own. Specially big names who keep quiet during other big name controversies. Consistency makes you more credible.

There were actually multiple ads by the same brand on similar disgusting premises.

Looks like their entire marketing team is a boys club. Locker room types content nikal rahe.

Good that it was taken down. Hope there's a penalty as well. Otherwise it would just lead to more brands creating controversies to get some limelight (like BW).

BW outraging on it though is just 😆.

Pot calling the kettle black.

Wish these celebrities were half as aggressive over issues infesting their own industry and its movies.

The ads were so problematic that it actually seemed like some potential molesters were behind the conceptualization. Trivializing a woman's fear of getting sexually assaulted is sick. A ban isn't enough!

So Bollywood bandwagoning brigade has finally found a relatively safe issue to virtue signal about in the year of our lord 2022? Okay

I agree but if I may say..we all get wiser and somethings we didn't realize were problematic 13 years ago..we may do now..that is what we call progress..so hopefully people criticizing this ad have evolved and to be fair we cannot hold them accountable for something that happened 13 years ago .we all have in many ways evolved..
