Plus, no wonder Aryan's brain goes on frozen mode once he sees his dear one in danger.😢

Thanks for tagging me, Grace.

It is nice to reminisce when the current track is crap.

Yes, this young man does a commendable job by portraying his emotions with his eyes, very subtle nuances and his voice itself❤️. He doesn't need any lines. This scene and the scene where he watches helplessly in the Purandas villainy episode with Imlie locked in the van, are real tear jerkers😭They punch you in the gut with no words. He definitely can give the so called Bollywood heroes the run for their money.😎

This particular scene appears so real, his inability to move at the thought of his sister perishing in the storm, another presumed failure of his😭, becoming completely blank and staring into nothingness. It was amazing acting

Pooja, please help me crack this riddle. Is this about #1 or #2? For me the #1 is unbearable and #2 is inconsequential.

It's about the character lol... Never seen such pathetic spineless character before him. Zero impact.

No hate to actors. They were just doing their jobs.

I am rewatching and trust me Aryan-Malini combo is damn 🥵🔥Their screen presence mahnnn 🤩
Malini - Aryan can be a perfect pair of obsessive lovers in town ( AU), the ones they write in books, dark love stories

I wanted to ask this for a long time. Why did Aryan throw water at Imlie's face after the fight club scene. Was it because the makers initially wanted him to be a cold and rude person who doesn't respect other people like a typical Gul's ML who's just prejudiced and manhandles, insults the FL. The scene where accuses her of stealing the ring also feels the same to me.

Is it like he was characterized like that initially but later on corrected to be a person who's just closed-off but not unnecessarily prejudiced and insolent.

He threw water on her because she fell twice and was covered in dirt.

The ring thing was more circumstantial.

arre are kya sawaal pucha aapne😆🤣

But there are things that cannot be said in khule aam but lemme try 😌

I’ll be honest here… Makers were testing the waters and this brand of ML did not suit them at that time so they changed tactics…Aryan Singh Rathore was to be a copy of Arnav Singh Raizada but later turned out to be the trendsetter himself 😁🤓

My take, if I may

I think the writers just wanted people to sit up and take notice of this new character, and get the tongues wagging too😃Just to shock and awe the complacent audience, yeh na soche ki that he is one more of those disheveled lawyer types who fizzled out before he started🤔

Otherwise, Aryan has no mean bone in his body. For a person, who talks with so much reverence to Meethi about an honest day's work and about that employee with a sick child at home but does her duty, can't be looking down on people😕 He always gave the vibes of somebody who would see people for what they are, rather than what they have👍🏼 Other wise, hum sab uska shred kar dete abhi tak😈

Woh hote haina, when they have a standardized test, there are some questions just to annoy people but don't mean anything in the final scores, bilkul waise😎

Giving a lamba chauda answer to this question…
They wanted someone who could be Imlie’s Imla but also making an identity for himself…their initial idea was to bring in a typical Gul wale ML who behaved with the FL like an total ass, but they knew it would not work here, considering the circumstances toh bilkul nahi…Imlie was hurt and humiliated… the person who came in shouldn’t be someone who added to her wounds, gaav pe namak nahi chidaknatha by insulting, misbehaving with her…
The kaske pakadna is just part and parcel of Gul’s writers.. but the only difference is Imlie is not a meek FL, she is not someone who would entertain that type of behaviour, she would be like ruko bhail, mien tumhe maarti hon, tum kya mujhe maroge 😒🤣 isliye personal space jaisa kuch raha hi nahi dono ke beech nor people were exactly offended when Aryan held her tightly

Aryan was not written to be like this, they just had a rough sketch that he should be like this, a person who could be Imlie’s support system, jaise jaise episode Gaya, he was written along the way, according to the audience’s response actually!
As for the initial behaviour, like I said before they were just testing the waters…writers knew their go-to type of MLs wouldn’t work here, the audience response would be like are iske like wohi behtar tha! So they changed his whole demeanour overnight and the end product was a guy who was closed off but not someone who disrespected people over status, or misbehaved with women, etc.,

Throwing water at someone walking on road is nasty. I know these things are common in hate-to-love relationships and nothing out of character for brooding angry ML. But again he is Aryan

The first thing he says to her in the ring scene is "To ameeron ko lootne ka kaam karti ho" and also "chor Kahi ki". That is a downright classist remark according to me. The Aryan who respects Meethi and has the opinion that everyone who does naukri is naukar wouldn't say something like this I feel. Although he's blind sided when it comes to his apne, but it's not like he's prejudiced and looks down upon people in general.

Arnav from IPK was like that and I feel Aryan has similar vibes in those initial epi. The Aryan he later becomes and is know, it is a little off-putting that he behaved like that.

I understand that both the water and ring scene were to bring out the hate chemistry between Arylie but still I can't reconcile Aryan's attitude then to now.
