This is such a good topic to revolve the discussion around.
I'll list some of Mr. Kanitkar's qualities that I ❤️
Mr. Kanitkar is genuine. Regardless of the fact that he gets ridiculously rude in the process of being genuine at times, the man does not fake things. He is mad? He will say it. He is hurt? He will say it. He is happy? You will see it. Right on his face. He - time and again - repeats that he does not love Apurva which no longer is true but it was... in the past. Now we may not like it but he has never once faked it. He did not have feelings for her and he was vocal about it. Never gave her any false hopes or made promises. Mr. Kanitkar is genuine.
Mr. Kanitkar is extremely caring. Which I find extremely, extremely endearing. Keeping aside his anger issues, the man has got a heart that knows how to care for someone and make them feel special even without really doing much. He might struggle to express but he finds his own ways to be expressive. Radu nakos, radki bahuli. Chhan zalyat tuzya dragon polya. He couldn't say it to her in person but he couldn't let her keep crying either so he chose his way. The message. Mr. Kanitkar is extremely caring.
Mr. Kanitkar is considerate. Now this is debatable but I do feel that he is. Apurva and the Kukki gang do trouble her a lot and even if he calls them out, he let it go, most of the time unless their pranks touch the things or feelings that he holds dear. Studies. Lies. He got furious in the farmhouse track and I still feel, rightfully so. He had left the meeting ( or presentation, don't exactly remember) that could have taken him to great heights in his career - just because his wife had a fever. Mr. Kanitkar is considerate.
Mr. Kanitkar has a sweet shatir dimag. Which knows how to do some harmless scheming when it comes to his people. What if something happens to me after you leave me? Teddy isn't available. Mathematician ghost. All of it to keep her close to himself. Mr. Kanitkar has a sweet shatir dimag.
Mr. Kanitkar is waise a Bhala Manas bas needs to work on his anger issues and the words that come out of his mouth in that anger. ❤️

yeah he is a person of character but that does not mean ki netra is all over him family ko hurt Karin and yeh appu ko hi hurt Karen. So ne melting. This is possible that netra herself joins the conference without him knowing and appu misunderstands that he lied to her about not taking netra

Jolly and ishqi jaise aapko DBS me 10 good qualities dikhti hai, waise hi muze usme 10 bad qualities dikhti hai. Ek hi coin ke 2 sides types situation ho gayi hai 😆

He does have anger issues and his words are hurtful but at the same time,,,his commitment, love and care towards everyone is plus points..
Future me DBS sach me kuch achha karega to mai use appreciate jarur karungi, Kyunki jo achha hai woh achha hi hai 👍🏼

Agreed! Absolutely not melting either! What he did with Appu was extremely wrong and if it hadn't been for the fact that it's only been a couple months to their unwanted wedding, I would hate him a lot!
I agree with you too Chinmayi. 2 sides of the same coin, just diff perception. My problem is that I'm rewatching episode so I can see soo many times that Appu was in the wrong and either hurt him unwantedly or really did embarrass him a lot, both as a person and as her husband, and he took most of it without getting angry on her so I can see the good and bad qualities in him and Appu. They've both changed and right now, Appu's good qualities overweigh the bad but DBS's good qualities are temporarily overshadowed by his bad behavior.
As for HC at the conference, I wouldn't put it past the Chudail to try to sneak her way into it but it wouldn't have been his idea. However harsh and angry he is, the one thing DBS isn't, along with disloyal, is a liar. That being said, I would love it if Appu somehow finds out about HC being at the conference and reacts on DBS for that! 😈
